Thank you so much for watching. I am glad I could help. Everybody’s situation is different. When it comes to driving rideshare. You never know until you try. If I were going to rent I would rent from a third-party so that way I could drive on any app, but I’ve rented from Uber and Lyft And have been successful with it so it’s all preference. Good luck to you my friend.
I’m in Los Angeles (different market) and it seems good even if you rent just rent something that will amount to $350 ….after that you hustle there’s so many options Uber(and Uber eats), Instacart, Poplin, Shipt, Door Dash, Amazon Express etc…you just need to hustle and have a strategy. Use your car for more than carrying people and you open yourself up to more options. But as I said different market.
I have question bro I have black suv Lyft 2021 Infiniti qx80 , so I’m doing just just black and black suv but it’s so slow and I have wait maybe 1-2 hours for ride because so many people order the extra comfort ! Now my question do you think it’s better to work with premium ride as( extra comfort ,xl , black and black suv) ? When turn on the premium ride the app starting give me bunches of garbage as extra comfort as so cheap! And dosent give xl ride and black So what it is better I do ? What type of rides use ?
Hey there and thank you for watching. I’ve never driven on the black rides. I’ve only driven on the comfort and XL or regular rides. I know that you can make more money on black but you have to wait around for those rides. So the choice is really whether or not you want to stay busier and taker lower rides like comfort or wait around for the black rides. If you can afford to take the comfort rides or regular XL then I would. If it were me I would turn everything on except for regular Uber X. You will have to drive more through the day but you’ll stay busier and on Friday and Saturday nights I would stay on black only. You’ll have to try different things to figure out what works for you and what’s profitable. If you keep your car clean and be the best driver you can be then the people that take comfort and XL will appreciate it and you’ll get better tips on those rides so it’s almost like you’re driving black rides because of the big tips. I hope that helps you and good luck out there and be safe.🙏✝️
Don’t give up! I’ve been doing this job for quite a few years and every year is different. Put in the time and stick to the basics. Take calls one after the other. Position, patience, persistence my friend. You got this!
I have my own Prius that I use but every once in a while I’ll rent a car from somewhere to give my car a break and drive something new. Just to switch it up
Do you do Uber and Lyft on the car you rent from Lyft ? I want to rent a car from Lyft but heard you can’t do Uber in it. Also love hearing you be open about God 🙏🏽 May he bless you immensely🤍
Hello there 👋. No we’re not able to do Uber in a Lyft car and vice versa. I have a Prius that I own and use for both apps. Once in a while if I’m not truck driving then I’ll rent a different car from Uber or Lyft just to change things up and use a different car. I’m glad that you love hearing about the Gospel. Just know that God loves you 🙏✝️. God bless you
Ouch… yeah it’s definitely not worth it driving part time. $500 was the unlimited mileage I assume. When it comes to renting I always preferred going to Ucars. Or another third party rental. Even Ubers rental program is better.
@@TheRideshareMinister even working 12 hours everyday is not worth it. U end up making $9 an hour when at my job I make $25 per hour. I feel violated by this system. Paying a thousand weekly for a rental nah time is to valuable to be giving it up to huge multimillionaire company.
Lyft express makes no sense 300 just to rent and you don’t always get valuable rides, you’d have to be out all day and take crappy rides and the wait times in between rides are ridiculous. Also they will send you on nature hikes
Your driving score is 99 percent which means u take every ride that pops up. All the $3 and $4 rides you take there’s no way u getting $1500 minimum. Cherry-picking u can but you still will be outside waiting all day and running the miles up. The decent paying rides are high mileage rides now. Bad per mile ratio.
$1500 minimum is the goal my friend. Do I make that every week? No. My score is like 83% actually. If you work hard and strategize, between Lyft and Uber plus whatever cash, you should be able to make $1500 in any decent market.
Rideshare clearly isn’t the way to go nowadays unless you don’t have a choice. I do it because I love to do it. I’m a truck driver by trade. Good luck to you
Typically how many hours per 5 day week do you have to work to make 1300 a week? I'm in Philly and am thinking about renting thru Lyft only. BTW I am also a truck driver, I drive tankers
@@norfillyson it depends man. Sometimes you make it quicker than others. I usually like to work 10-12 hour days. If you work those hours you’ll clear that probably by Thursday or Friday.

Lyft flooded the market here in central California i mean there literally drivers on top of each other my riders sat nobody can speak english are anyone else having this problem in your area
Maybe not as bad. Cali has a lot more people I think although a lot of them came to Arizona before and after Covid. Never the less the market is saturated

Do you use your own car or get a Lyft rental to save miles on your car ?
@@kingrico9966 I use my own because renting almost costs $1100 a month from Uber/Lyft. Give or take.

How many miles have you put on your Prius per month doing rideshare only?

Pretty close. I usually put in 12 to 14 hours. Summertime is always slow.

The Phoenix metro takes 30 minutes to get pretty much anywhere.
I paid $500 to go get it. I did 50 rides in one week. 5hrs everyday, out of $900 i ended up with $26. No joke!!!!!
