Upgrade windows 8.1 to 10 mobile in 2020 | Windows Store not Working? [Fix it]

- Almost all devices can be upgraded which have a minimum of 1 GB RAM. Internet connectivity over Wi-Fi is needed when upgrade. The device has enough free storage space to upgrade and the battery has over 40%. It is recommended to back-up contacts, photos, files etc. before the upgrade.

Upgrade Process
1) Download Over the software on your PC
2) Run the downloaded OtcUpdaterZip.exe
3) Run the otcupdater.exe
4) Attach the phone to PC via USB cable
5) The tool automatically checks and downloads the available update
6) Remove the device after an update has started
If some errors occur while upgrading, Go to WDRT and see if the phone has an update and when it gets updated then go to the OTC updater and it will work.

I followed your instructions i.e. "Devices must not have internet connectivity - No active SIM, CDMA network or Wi-Fi is needed. Put devices in Airplane Mode prior to using the tool.". No success whatsoever.

This could also be caused by a mismatch of the security binding between the client and the server.

Excellent. Just updated my Microsoft 640 LTE mobile 8.1 to 10. Took a few try's but I got there in the end. I bought the phone cheap on ebay because I had a pay as you go sim with plenty of credit. Will keep as a spare and use with spotify. Recommend this upgrade. Nothing to loose

WDRT can't be downloaded from Microsoft site but managed to download from another website but getting error when trying to install:
Setup failed - 0x80070002 - The system cannot find the file specified

no bro, windows store does not have all apps. you don't lose any data when you get successful upgrade but better to backup important data

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of the window yours running, check your computer system info to see weather you need an x86 (32bit) or x64 (64 bit) version of the program . And the contat the software publisher.

What can i do if the answer is : "The remote server returned the following error: (408) Request timed out."
You just need to reinstall windows 8.1 using windows tool application on pc. This problem occurs due to old software.
Try this method. 100 percent works.

Curious, why is the file called a zip.exe kinda fishy if you ask me looking to get another 930 going to the modern era, by far the highest quality WM8.1 only beaten by the scarce 1520 which is my current main device, sadly the previous owner never updated it back in 2k19 so have to do this waiting simulator again
