- From our recent campervan roadtrip to North Wales, join us for a picturesque circular walk on a section of the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path from Church Bay to Carmel head and back.
The walk provides fantastic clifftop views, and a great chance to see wildlife such as Dolphons, Seals and Choughs.

What absolutely stunning views from Chruch Bay to Carmel Head. Love a great loop walk. The weather looks like it was nice, but a little hazy in the background. Just gorgeous.
Hi there! It was a stunning walk. The weather started out OK and then headed downhill 😁 We were going home the next day, so at least the rain held off until then! 👍😊

Hi you two! Yes, such a fantastic stretch of coastline. We barely saw another person all day. The beer was most welcome after battling blocked paths to find a return route! 😁
Love that classic UK coastline you guys have over there with all the lovely paths along the cliffs. Also, lovely to walk through hedge like that, especially if you can see up over it! I hear what you were talking about with the GoPro microphone clicking. Lovely day out, nice and overcast to keep the sun off your head. Always a bonus when you can catch some wildlife out there.
We took away some happy memories from this trip! The walks along the Anglesey coast were fantastic! 😊 Most of my old vinyl record collection sounds very similar to the Gopro's sound quality! 😂 I used to try and edit the clicks out, but eventually gave up! Yes, the Ramblers Assoc do a great job co-ordinating these issues through to the appropriate local councils and their phone app is really useful! Carmel Head I have never visited but have been to Church Bay and going the other way, the nature reserve at Cemlyn. Looks a really good stretch of coastline too. Thanks for sharing Des. ATB, Chris

Hi there! It is a beautiful stretch of the coastal path. I'm trying to recall the dates this section has closures for shooting. Pretty sure it is Sept to February, so you should be OK. Hope you enjoy it and get some great sightings!👍😊

Hi Sue! It's an absolutely stunning coastline! Some nice little basic camp sites down in Church Bay too (and the pub didn't seem to object to stopovers!). The last stretch of the walk was a bit fraught, with blocked paths and broken stiles...we were ready for those beers! 😁

Cheers Steve! It was a cracking walk. If I'm not mistaken, the choughs used to be confined to the South Stacks area, but they must be doing OK as they seemed to be quite plentiful along this stretch. Well worth a visit! Catch you soon...got your latest on my watch list👍

Lovely, Des. I do like a walk that ends with a pint (and chips) or a coffee ( and scone). My coastal path walk at the weekend up here was a deal more blustery than yours. I think I like the idea of doing more coastal and fewer hills - my knees are complaining! Take care. Atb...Terry

Hi Stu. It was a cracking hike! From what I could find out, the markers were just painted white, but there is a lighthouse on the nearby Skerries rocks. Cheers for watching👍 ATB!

What a lovely coastline there and Anglesey is a place I have wanted to visit for a while, even more so now. Looks like plenty in the way of wildlife to see there too, not too keen on the sound of plenty of cows mind. Never happy when I see cows or farmers who do not respect public rights of way but still a nice 8 mile walk and a nice pub division to the pub! Cheers Alan
Hi Alan! It was a cracking walk👍 I should have grabbed a clip of it, but I don't think I've ever seen that many cows queuing up for milking! Luckily the farmer had provided an alternative path to keep walkers away from them. Credit where it's due! 😁 All the best & thanks very much for watching👍

Yes, it was an amazing walk for wildlife! As usual, just the Gopro when we're walking so no footage unfortunately 😁 The paths are quite near the edge in places. So not for those with a fear of heights, and maybe not for stormy weather either! Wire cutters, and maybe some timber to repair the stiles 😁 Cheers for watching👍
