I am all for options but give the user the option to disable premiere in their subscriptions feed. When I am watching youtube on my TV I want to watch video's, not look at a thumbnail.
That's a stuipd response Allen. At least put them in a separate damn tab. My subscription feed is for what I can watch now. Not what I can watch in 15 hours or in some cases 2 days later.

The level of sophistication on this car is extremely impressive. This package will be very hard to beat by other manufacturers and might be the standard bearer if it doesn't break down.
Dexter Sullen 'TRUTH' BMW don’t make v10 engines. Customer demand will determine if v12 option (860Li ?) will be made available. M8 will definitely have a V8. There’ll likely be a V8 + electric motor (light hybrid) option though for some crazy performance figures, that’s the rumour, but don’t expect it.
@@centrallifestyle3650 the can make v10 engines as they did before, m8 is their flagship, so it's should have their top of the line of everything they can offer.
Honestly, I really love the interior. The virtual cockpit looks pretty cool, and no longer does it seem as though a tablet was just stuck on the dashboard with the infotainment system.

I get a timer and disappointment. Previews might work for hard core fans but as a more casual shquad member it puts me off :/
My videos are published at 14:00 UK time each day there is one going live, I don't think anything has changed but the best bit is you now know what's coming directly here as well, whereas before we'd be posting in UA-cam Community, Instagram Feed and Stories, Facebook and Twitter to tell you ahead of time
But why put your own embargo in place after the car is in the public domain? If the video is uploaded to UA-cam why prevent people from watching it? It just annoys them like teasing a child with sweets. I went elsewhere to watch the review while having my lunch.
Is it a problem that Top Gear goes out at 8pm on a Sunday night when it's already filmed? Ultimately it's a publishing schedule to keep content flowing, make it possible to edit and upload, and manage the process at a planned time on a daily basis when I can stop what I'm doing (just parked up a 488 Spider to reply to you!)
Hi Shmee, no it isn't a problem that Top Gear,or in this case you, has a fixed schedule. But you're loyal fans know that schedule. You always had a schedule for publishing your videos and we know that, we also got notification when a new video was live. Since that premiere thingy was introduced notifications for videos with that feature don't work youtube wide, so in the long run it might hurt your viewing numbers.

People watch UA-cam all day and night, it's an on demand service, quite different to a linear scheduled service as is the case for BBC2. This premiere thing is blurring the lines between on demand and linear scheduled programmes. Some, including me don't like being teased, 'here's a video, I've uploaded it to UA-cam but I've put a bar on it so you can't watch it until a pre defined time'. If it's already uploaded why not just let people watch it!? It's just a bit annoying that's all. But on the upside it shows people enjoy your videos enough to get frustrated when they're being withheld. Have fun in the 488 today :)

It looked so much better in concept form. Why did they water it down so much? I thought the concept looked as good as Aston Martins. This looks so plain by comparison. The car looks more Mustang GT.
A friend, Raymond Burton, (any relation?) in the early 90s had one of BMW's first go at an 8 series. The suspension was so dreadful his wife made him get rid of it fairly sharpish! It was easy to understand why BMW dropped it. From your comments, they seem to have got it right this time. Great review.
The BMW 8 Series comes in two flavours: the 840d and M850i both equipped with xDrive all wheel drive. The BMW 8 has a sporty demeanour with long pointing nose, has the new iDrive 7.0 system with LiveCockpit and brilliant on the track especially with the best all-wheel-drive in this setup.

I think it should be like that. There are people who don't like displays everywhere. Also this makes all interiors look the same. I think the display thing got so over the top that less is more, more classy.

Yeah I was hoping it would have AMG GTS proportions, so that it would have road presence. But it seems its close to the size of a Lotus than an AMG. Either way though its Tesla and their interiors are horrible. Much prefer the BMW 8 series.
@@DanielSadjadian yes, M6 and M8 shapes look great. Tesla has good performance but apart from that I always wonder why the design is just as boring as a Golf.
I really like this but the S-Class coupe seems more practical for carrying 2+2 and is slightly better looking imo. The kit this has is impressive though, one hell of a package.
BMW failed this car in my opinion. The existence of the BMW i8 doesn't really leave any room for this car in the market, And there's nothing exciting about this car which makes it have no real purpose and not many of these units will be sold. The better alternative would've been a newer and upgraded 2019 BMW 6-series and eventually comes in a BMW M6 🇩🇪 where the competition is at
They ditched the 6 in favor of this new flagship-model. The i8 is a hybrid and almost 6 years old. This is like an M4 but bigger and more luxurious. And it looks so fucking aggressive.
This is not the most beautiful BMW. The kidney grill looks like korean car KIA. And the headlight looks like a Mustang... Nothing really impress me. Just like the awful new Mercedes CLS. Love the 6 coupe.

Yeah I was hoping it would have AMG GTS proportions, so that it would have road presence. But it seems its close to the size of a Lotus than an AMG. Either way though its Tesla and their interiors are horrible. Much prefer the BMW 8 series.

I really like this but the S-Class coupe seems more practical for carrying 2+2 and is slightly better looking imo. The kit this has is impressive though, one hell of a package.

BMW failed this car in my opinion. The existence of the BMW i8 doesn't really leave any room for this car in the market, And there's nothing exciting about this car which makes it have no real purpose and not many of these units will be sold. The better alternative would've been a newer and upgraded 2019 BMW 6-series and eventually comes in a BMW M6 🇩🇪 where the competition is at

They ditched the 6 in favor of this new flagship-model. The i8 is a hybrid and almost 6 years old. This is like an M4 but bigger and more luxurious. And it looks so fucking aggressive.
