My friend did compare aeco gold plated to WBT nextgen gold plated plugs. WBT has a much more washed out sound and are more muddy in general. That is his findings. His preferred plugs are aeco gold plated.
@@henrykausmiler3888 aeco is easy to solder, both pins have an angle cut tube opening at the end, so it holds solder well and it is easy to position the wire in it.

Hi, I cannot answer regarding the sockets, but mogami 2497 works nice with aeco RCA plugs.
If you have to choose RCA plugs from WBT or Aeco which one would you choose?

@@Justas-M AECO has similarity with ETI, however ETI has very small returning pin hard to solder. I wonder how AECO compares to ETI RCA
