I did a trip like that to Slovenia last August, but my Great Grandfather was from Vrzdenec. We were walking down the street, me, my father and my son, and found out a truck with our surname on it. Then we knocked on the door and met some distant cousins, that we had never heard of. It was an unforgettable experience.

Very special moment, so grateful we were able to make it happen! We actually booked a driver for the day since it was a 2 hour drive from the village to the lake. He was also able to give us a lot of info about Slovenia, it was awesome!
