Dude totally same. 8 years ago I found this. Moved to Japan, got married and had 2 kids.
Thus reminds me of college, University, bus trips, train rides, the potential future, young relationships (that I never pursued), game night sessions with my friends (who I've lost touch with all of them). It's a bittersweet taste of a wonderful time but a time that might not happen again and it sheds a kind of tear I don't often get these days. What a beautiful mix. Thank you.

I just want to take the time to tell everyone ANYTHING is achievable. Don't listen to negativity, YOU"RE a creator in this world and you can project your dreams into reality. So stay positive keep your goals in mind. Remember that Love is the most lacked emotion in poverty. LOVE, ENJOY, BE HAPPY no matter where you are in life you can make your situation better. I use to be a drug addict now I sit on my computer making money with clicks and buttons. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Remember a stranger like me can love you so love yourself because only YOU know whats best for you. Life is a mindset. Peace, Love and Light.

I look around, everyone is too into technology to communicate. When do you ever see people hugging kissing holding hands and enjoying the nature of beauty? Don't EVER listen to music whilst studying. Your brain wouldn't operate at its full capacity and you wouldn't remember much informations afterward. This song is just for chilling.

The volume is very low but I can still hear the music. Studies show that you are able to learn more effective (especially Maths) while listening to music

Hearing this in the morning....While preparing myself for the day, and farewell's in the week before i travel to the otherside of the world. I find myself pausing to marvel at the transitions, the tracks, the depth of awesome in every song. What a beautiful mix. Thanks Phaeleh you ROCK.

Phaeleh man, where to start. I'm not even a big Dubstep fan, grew up on heavy metal and moved to DnB. That being said, however, Phaelehs style is so so damn good. Nice micro-beats, brilliant musicianship and lovely, warm, round basses. My hats off to you pal.
These mixes fill me with so much nostalgia, and sometimes melancholy, when I listen to them now. Thinking back on all the memories I made when these were first released makes me long for those days now.
I can't even explain to you how much this helped me today. I was so depressed and I bumped into this mix and just listened to it in peace and it really helped me think and get over some stupid thoughts I was having. This saved me from going into a depression for a few days, Thank you, I am incredibly thankful, you have no idea.

Suicide Sheep u are the true artist, a visionary, u have changed my life. I'm sure psychedelics have had a role in the kind of magic you keep making. The Journey was the best set of music i have ever heard in my life. I have yet to come across anything tht can surpass it.

The vocals of the person in the beginning for some reason really reminded me of my favorite group Oceanlab, who sadly, no longer makes music
well Oceanlab is just the side project of Above & Beyond, who are very much still in the business of making music. You can probably expect another OceanLab track in the next couple years. At least, I hope so!

Blackmill is better, just my opinion
Blackmill was one of the pioneers of the textbook "Chillstep", Phaeleh on the other hand has a very different, more ambient-focused sound.
Btw, if you're one of those people who says "blackmill is better", you're gonna hate his next album (so far extremely ambient and experimental)

Can't really compare Blackmill and Phaeleh, they got different styles. Blackmill is more dubsteppy, they got that background electrogrind sound, Phaeleh is more ambiental, more percussion n funky instruments.
