This video is AWESOME. I love how thoroughly you walked through those steps and how honest you are about the price. Every time I read about a "super affordable DIY," they've left out all those little added costs. LOVE this, thank you so much!
Thanks for the comment! While I knew all the little costs were adding up, it wasn’t until I added it all together to plan this video that I realized just how big that price tag was getting.

gotta say, you sort of remind me of a young Norm Abram, whom I've grown up watching his show (The New Yankee Workshop) on Saturday mornings.☺👍 my dream to have workshop like his😏😄
A compliment of the highest order. At one point I had Norm Abram listed as one of my heroes on my Facebook profile. 🤣 Slowly working towards a workshop like his.
Great, but it’s only been like 6 months. 🤣 I actually went with 10’ legs and that’s been working well. Never feels too small but 12’ would be a good option if you wanted a BIG swing set. It just might be a little harder for kids to generate speed.
I was considering getting 12’ legs but now that it’s done I can see that would be overkill. 10’ seems like the sweet spot.

👀ing, is my way too, often pretty good at it😏
Good video!
Thanks!
How is it holding up? Do you still like the 12 foot legs?

4x6x12 in San Francisco costs $45.
Yikes! Plus installing a swingset on those hills can’t be easy. 🤪 Seriously though, lumber prices can fluctuate a lot.
I think you already know, I'm a big fan of the mulch from Lowe's.....😂🤣
🤣 How many bags though? That pile looked huge!
@@FunsizedAdventures I bought 30.🤣😂
you win.
several kids, aka, Supervisors😆
Next time, use ropes to assist in raising it.
Definitely! If I didn’t have such group people already there I would have done that this time.
