It's good to see the kids enjoying this but I've seen some other reviews and the clickbot can be a serious piece of kit. Great potential for prototyping industrial automation. Especially when you use the pincer or suction pieces.
I was really impressed by what I saw here. The ease of use makes it incredibly effective for experimentation. I.e. being able to easily keyframe arbitrary poses in a couple of seconds? That's really awesome. I'm by no means heavy into robotics, just looked into it a bunch over the years, but this seems like a really cool starting point, akin to Lego Mindstorms.

As a kid, in the 70's-80's I had something called a "Capsula" building kit, spheres that connected together and had motor units and stuff like that, of cours it didn't have brains or a display, but you could still build a decent ammount of things with it. But the clear plastic was brittle, and the peices broke one after the other until it was unusable. My dad did a good job of gluing the broken pices, and filing off the excess glue so they still would fit into each other, but it was a lost war...

I saw the documentary back in the 80's. Skynet sends a robot back to 1984 to kill the mother of the leader of the Resistance before he's even conceived, because if you have time travel that's how you deal with problems obviously.
The only things I'd say are missing are some propellers or blades or something like that. They do include wheels and feet for legs, but what if you want to build a motorized fan or something? You can't really do that with this.
The animations they've programmed into this are really cute, and the way it moves is really impressive and fluid, both with the default and user models. This is pretty awesome.
As cool as what that robot is what I liked more about this video is watching you and your children interacting with one another. They are so polite and so comfortable around Dad which shows that behind the scenes you and your wife are doing a great job in raising them. Nice to see Linus that you have family values.
As a production sound mixer who recorded kids giggling while spending time with their parents all day today, I noticed a lot more audio of the kids giggling in this video. Even knowing exactly what the sound editor was doing here, it's still just so heartwarming. They seem like great kids.
