As a Dawnblade main I second this, the neutral game for Attunement of Sky is phenomenal if you use it correctly. It has a higher skill curve but the sky is the limit once you learn it. Great video TV.
Special K Dude Much agreed! Got my 1st *We Ran Out of Medals* last night using Attunement of Sky Dawnblade! Iron Banner on Vostok, ran Dire Promise/Eternal Blazon/Orewing's Maul. Sunbracers for my Exotic.
Special K Dude recently seen one of your videos on the dawnblade and I love it glad there’s more of us out here that dawnblade more vids plz and great content
Noob_Killa_4L tx! I posed a few others on my channel as well so check em out. I might start focusing on another class though, as I want to start pumping out different guide videos other than just Dawnblade.
I've been using this setup (with minor variations) since the first video you posted about it and I've been getting some awesome kill streaks! Love the videos!
I started using Dawnblade last month, when you said how great it would be for the update. Now, I only use it. I like to couple it with Ophidian Aspect and Tractor Cannon; it's so fun. Thanks TV!
michael singer if you think bubble Titan is bad (top tree sentinel) you are wrong. The melee ability is much better and so are the other perks. If you don’t believe me watch Destiny fun police or Cammy cakes
Maaaan I love watching your videos. I enjoy using the AoS but totally forgot to use the aerial dodge. I can't even imagine how many more gunfights I'm gonna win now that I'll be using that. Adapting your aerial assault tactics has already really upped my game. Damn you've got great PVP content. Edit: SunBREAKERS were the first 'Lock exotic I got and i loved em back in d1. That firebolt grenade looks much more effective than i imagined, however. Can't wait to get some more pieces that complement it. also..... BRING BACK THE FIRST CURSE
Back when D2 just began I only used Dawnblade because I loved being able to midair dodge and just fly around, but realized that for only having like one super the entire game, I was getting nothing out of it, especially because I was terrible at aiming the blades. Because of this I just would use Stormcaller or Voidwalker. Recently I’ve been playing the class a lot more because of the new Sunbracers which makes the class almost feel like it’s D1 counterpart again whenever I get a melee again.
Honestly, all of the Solar subclases are great for neutral gameplay. Gunslinger can kill up to 6 small-medium targets, Sunbreaker can kill up to 9 low to medium targets, and Dawnblade is explained in the video above. ALSO, with Celestial Nighthawk, a sharpshooter (bottom tree) gunslinger can kill about a 1/4 of a boss' health with a golden gun shot.
i actually just started using dawnblade again and OMG you move so fast. i can hardley controll the jump speed when im in my super. BUT that circle button dodge does WONDERS for it!
I used Attunement of Flame for a long time and I recently switched to Attunement of Sky. That Icarus Dash really makes all the difference worth while. I too run my Warlock with the Transversive Steps but also with the Mida Combo with 7 Mobility and 9 Recovery. It's really strong for 1v1 engagements but all it takes is one of their teammates sitting back with Vigilance Wing and I'm dead. If you can get your opponents into a location where it's difficult to support fire then this tree really suffers. I've also found that I need to improve my aim and timing with the super.
Watching this and then other people start maining Dawnblade, makes me realize I should probably pick it up. It fits my play style so well. I'm aggressive and slippery. Hunter's dodge isn't very good for me minus the neutral game of the Arcstrider (which is my current main and I'll still use it) but I like the idea of a class that lets me go airborne and have aerial advantages as well as a fast super that can go aerial too.
u know im late to say this but i completely agree i use dawnblade in all crucible and always that tree and using your vertical spacing with the dash really throws people off especially since people dont actually use their vertical spacing enough
Would you have any more tips for AoS now that Forsaken is out? Slap some more icarus mods on your weapons maybe? Or any cooldowns for your mods, or maybe forgo cooldown mods and just go for stat mods?
Hey TV, very thorough video as always ^^ *Cue the D1 TV music* I miss those tunes btw, not even sure if they have names or where to find them. 😅 Anyway, I was thinking the only thing maybe missing from this build was even faster health regen when you're up close and personal and don't have time to switch weapons?....I dunno, and you'd certainly know better than I would. But what about something like the Karnstein Armlets, or the Crimson?
Wondering what your Mobility/Resiliance/Recovery and your Armor Mod Grenade/Class Skill/Melee loadouts are for your Dawnblade. I've been experimenting with different setups, and I'm torn between high Mobility and Recovery. Also wondering if high Mobility will affect the height & duration of your glide?
TV, can you add the name of the weapons you use in your video ? (in the info section). In the gameplay we see how they perform so it would be nice to know their name ! ;)
I dunno, I personally feel bottom tree dawnblade is better just cuz you can get your health back on demand and the super gets tracking and kills extend duration. In-air accuracy is still too low for me, and icarus dash kills my momentum. But hey, it clearly works for you, so have at it fam.
Sebastian while vwalker has better health regen, dawnblade has roaming, extendable super w/ burning melee to prevent heals. Plus Phoenix dive is on a short cooldown whereas devour requires kills to regen health.
What armor build as far as mob-res-rec are you using? You had some close calls as far as dying, yet you were able to either escape or counter attack and get the kill. Nice work TV!
I still have issues with the accuracy in the air, (I'm on console), that's why I have a hard time with the top tree, I use the bottom instead, and I'm doing well. nice vid TV
Alvaro Samaniego Use a Sidearm, SMG, or Trace Rifle (Prom Lens, Coldheart). They're basically 100% accurate in-air. Hand Cannons are also fairly good when airborne. For introductory SMGs I recommend Atalanta-D or Stochastic Variable (Tap the Trigger will help you out), the Omolon Sidearms are all solid, and I prefer Dire Promise or Jack Queen King 3 for HCs. Hope that helps!
i recently downloaded destiny 2 on my battle.net account, i chose warlock, though due to how garbage my pc is or whatever the problem is, i haven't gotten past the intro stage, but, I've figured out that on the voidwalker, you have this like reload cancel with your blink
Speaking as a true Dawnblade main since launch, I think it's safe to say that TV wasn't the first to discover the strengths of AoS Dawnblade. SpecialKDude (and myself?) especially has been spearheading the effort to increase awareness of its amazing potential.
I’m just not a fan of the massive in air accuracy decrease. Which is why I’ve always played bottom tree.. if only we had the choice to select or subclass nodes like D1....
I find it really difficult to use this without paddles on controller I hate having to take my thumb of the aim stick just to cancel my jump I usually ads to fall back down but it doesnt work I guess I need to invest into a new controller (PS: I can't claw all the way to x and I hate jumper setup)
Oh you don't have to keep ADS to activate it... HELLS YEAH! EDIT: And you can swap weapons while dashing! WHAT!!!!!! I can't wait till the FWC sidearm is available. I also wish I never dismantled my rattler. IO sucks.
Just wait for may 8 bungie adds the D1 exotic chest for the titan gives you 2 grenades you use it with code of juggernaut on striker titan it will be a really solid build
As a Dawnblade main I second this, the neutral game for Attunement of Sky is phenomenal if you use it correctly. It has a higher skill curve but the sky is the limit once you learn it. Great video TV.

" the sky is the limit" ... I see what you did there.
Man I’ve missed these videos. Destiny at its best, high level gameplay. Broken down into simple, easy to follow guides. Thanks TV
Please do much more of these. I’ve learned so much from you over the years. Much love.
I've been using this setup (with minor variations) since the first video you posted about it and I've been getting some awesome kill streaks! Love the videos!
I have been using this build since you upload other video about this before, I get a lot of fun with this :)
I come here just to watch your gameplay and then go to bed and dream I play like you do. Bro you're it
Great video. Always good to find new ways to shake up the crucible.
Always love these videos. Well spoken and informative. Hope you had a good time at the summit
Niiice. It's like a homage to your Empyrean Bellicose playstyle in D1!
TV showing me again I have no idea how to play the game lol. Thanks for the content, totally inspired!
I started using Dawnblade last month, when you said how great it would be for the update. Now, I only use it. I like to couple it with Ophidian Aspect and Tractor Cannon; it's so fun. Thanks TV!
Awesome gameplay. Reminds me of your two favorite old Titan builds combined.
TV with that unique ability to give you an absolute craving for a specific subclass
Just started playing destiny again and this helped alot. Ty
I just wish bubble Titan was actually good I miss D1 bubble so much
michael singer if you think bubble Titan is bad (top tree sentinel) you are wrong. The melee ability is much better and so are the other perks. If you don’t believe me watch Destiny fun police or Cammy cakes
michael singer It's still a good super, I use it all the time when I'm on my titan. Really good for countering supers in crucible.
Morrisons Man or TV lol. combined with the synthoceps it becomes a great neutral
michael singer give it weapons and blessings back
the class is great, but the bubble is shit. Every super destroys it with a few hits or 1 shots it. Or it can be easily destroyed by teamshooting it
I’m a big fan of your crucible plays!
Maaaan I love watching your videos. I enjoy using the AoS but totally forgot to use the aerial dodge. I can't even imagine how many more gunfights I'm gonna win now that I'll be using that.

also..... BRING BACK THE FIRST CURSE
True Vanguard wrecked me in the crucible two days ago so now I'm waiting for compilation vids to see if I'm there XD
Just exploring Dawnblade. This was a really helpful video. Thanks, brother! ;-)
TV, you might want to check that title again!
Ah the good ol' montage background music. Catchy
Back when D2 just began I only used Dawnblade because I loved being able to midair dodge and just fly around, but realized that for only having like one super the entire game, I was getting nothing out of it, especially because I was terrible at aiming the blades. Wormhusk crown: hold my beer
Enjoying your Warlock videos! Dawnblade is great, but need to get better with the actual dawnblade, you make it look so easy!
Always like watching your gameplay.
Just amazing
Warlock master race that's right
When we getting an update about the summit?
Honestly, all of the Solar subclases are great for neutral gameplay. Both PvP, PvE, and a nice amount of lore. Dawn Blade is a Dayne-g good subclass that leaves does in Morning. Puns, all intended.
‘Love you to death’
Is that what you tell your crucible opponents? Lol
Watching this and then other people start maining Dawnblade, makes me realize I should probably pick it up. It fits my play style so well. I'm aggressive and slippery. you give me a reason to comeback with my warlock haha, thx TV!
Tv are you planning on adding the new skyburners oath with this loadout? Tracking explosive rounds in the air sounds pretty nasty
Right?! Its gonna be pretty fun
I saw sky burners oath in the twitch stream its nasty it will be op when hip fireing from the air with top skill tree dawnblade
u know im late to say this but i completely agree i use dawnblade in all crucible and always that tree and using your vertical spacing with the dash really throws people off especially since people dont actually use their vertical spacing enough
Control Glide is best if you use Hand Cannon/Sidearm combo as you can hover side to side way faster. I used this and it works a lot tbh imo.
This makes me want to main a warlock SOOOO badly
Would you have any more tips for AoS now that Forsaken is out? Slap some more icarus mods on your weapons maybe? Or any cooldowns for your mods, or maybe forgo cooldown mods and just go for stat mods?
This with the new perks on skyburners oath hip fire is gona be maaaaaad.

I had a 27 kill game as a dawnblade
RetroGamer 06 me too i also got a 33 kill game as dawnblade
@@seb5542 +qqqo
@@jacobkasper4670 what does that mean?
Nice!! What about the mods to use?
Wondering what your Mobility/Resiliance/Recovery and your Armor Mod Grenade/Class Skill/Melee loadouts are for your Dawnblade. Warlocks assemble!
Private matches: TV vs Aztecross : 1v1 - that would be a dope match
Favorite titan subclass in this new patch? Just came back to d2 and wondering what you think is best
TV, can you add the name of the weapons you use in your video ? (in the info section). In the gameplay we see how they perform so it would be nice to know their name ! ;)
Great video. Ideal time to upload..! 😉
Great video TV. I'm actually excited to dust off my Warlock!
Question: what hand cannon and side arm are you using?
Glen Macdonald Sturm and the rattler.
Background music?
Love watching you roast guys with off meta builds!
Amazing gameplay TV
Hey True Vanguard
I was wondering if you could help me out on something. How do you get 0-10-10 on warlock and Titan.
Still a beast
I dunno, I personally feel bottom tree dawnblade is better just cuz you can get your health back on demand and the super gets tracking and kills extend duration. In-air accuracy is still too low for me, and icarus dash kills my momentum. But hey, it clearly works for you, so have at it fam.
Joseph Woeste the thing is if i want to use bottem skill tree dawnblade i might as well use voidwalker
Sebastian while vwalker has better health regen, dawnblade has roaming, extendable super w/ burning melee to prevent heals. Plus Phoenix dive is on a short cooldown whereas devour requires kills to regen health.
Yeah but you have to be high in the air for it to be worth it
What Veist sidearm is that you’re using in the video?
Tizzy13 the rattler
Have you tried this with the fighting lion? Its pretty fun
What armor build as far as mob-res-rec are you using? You had some close calls as far as dying, yet you were able to either escape or counter attack and get the kill. Nice work TV!
Which tree is better for this playstyle?
So far the warlock void walker still the choice for me.
What mods do you prefer on this TV?
what is that hand cannon ur using
Would you say I'm the best grounded/aggressive dawnblade or no?
What mods do you have on your gear? This question can also be answered by the community. Thank you.
I recommend a trace rifle for this build
The in air accuracy thing really depends on the weapon. Cool stuff though.
when those new sunbracers come out later today...who all putting them on at 1pm ET today. IK i am.
I was a dawnblade main before go fast.
Is this build viable in comp and trials?
i love you tv
I still have issues with the accuracy in the air, (I'm on console), that's why I have a hard time with the top tree, I use the bottom instead, and I'm doing well. nice vid TV
Alvaro Samaniego Use a Sidearm, SMG, or Trace Rifle (Prom Lens, Coldheart). They're basically 100% accurate in-air. Hand Cannons are also fairly good when airborne.

Hope that helps!
Thanks, I'm using (when use dawnblade), vigilance wing for long range carefully plays, and last dance, for those rush air plays.
dandyman side arms and smgs are not 100% in air accurate, only trace rifles
Darrius Poitier I did say "basically". As far as I've seen, shots that miss have been due to my aim (or lack thereof).
Why i like to swap up my inventory sometimes
this is probably more potent on console for sure
What exotic armor pars well with this?
TrueDamascus He says it in the video; transversive steps (ophidian aspects and karnsteins work too)
With higher sensitivity u can do crazy stuff with the super on console
I mained aos transversive steps burst glide before it was cool
What do you mean by "netural game"
i recently downloaded destiny 2 on my battle.net account, i chose warlock, though due to how garbage my pc is or whatever the problem is, i haven't gotten past the intro stage, but, I've figured out that on the voidwalker, you have this like reload cancel with your blink
What does he play d2 on?
Dog I’ve been saying dawnblade had a slick neutral game with that garrison skill in mid air before any update......... but no one listened!
Jirafin tv has been using dawnblade since launch. He's been encouraging people to try it for a long time.
Speaking as a true Dawnblade main since launch, I think it's safe to say that TV wasn't the first to discover the strengths of AoS Dawnblade.
SpecialKDude (and myself?) especially has been spearheading the effort to increase awareness of its amazing potential.
Give some love to my gunslinger pls
I am going to try and hone my dawnblade abilities with nova Bomb being so weak rn I need something that can wreck like dawnblade
I play dawnblade because I gotta go fast man.
What handcannon is that in most the clips?
Empathy Eg dfa
I’m just not a fan of the massive in air accuracy decrease. Which is why I’ve always played bottom tree.. if only we had the choice to select or subclass nodes like D1....
Personally I don’t know how anyone uses anything other than burst glide on any subclass lol.
I find it really difficult to use this without paddles on controller I hate having to take my thumb of the aim stick just to cancel my jump I usually ads to fall back down but it doesnt work I guess I need to invest into a new controller (PS: I can't claw all the way to x and I hate jumper setup)
bottom tree health regen though
Oh you don't have to keep ADS to activate it... HELLS YEAH!
EDIT: And you can swap weapons while dashing! WHAT!!!!!! I can't wait till the FWC sidearm is available. I also wish I never dismantled my rattler. IO sucks.
Is it possible if you can just show me what is your gear and what is your mobility resilience and recovery?
Would like to know too
Well they replaced sunsingers, so i would expect nothing less.
Yea but I like my double pulse grenade with my shield that also heals me, with crest of alpha lupi
Just wait for may 8 bungie adds the D1 exotic chest for the titan gives you 2 grenades you use it with code of juggernaut on striker titan it will be a really solid build
Wow in early. I also heard that TV never responds
Is he playing on pc
Hey TV!
Tell me your warlock secrets TV
my god when i see rattler at this point i cringe sooo hard now
5:07 how dafuq did that potato not ghost you when you were 1 shot and in a corner????? #youtuberperks
