We stayed at the Pod Times Square and really liked it. Stayed in a hotel in Sussex Gardens area of London that was a little bit smaller and everything was old. Pod rocks 😃
I’ve stayed at pod 51 and also at pod Brooklyn and currently am thinking about trying the Times Square pod next - that’s how I stumbled across our video. The room at this pod hotel seems to be less spacious since the desk takes up quite some (unnecessary?) space. At pod51 we booked a room with shared baths which was actually quite nice since you at least had this extra space in your room. Also for exploring the city I think it’s a nice place to stay/sleep at☺️ Loved that you pretty much showed everything! Thanks and keep it up! Cheers from Germany☺️
Stayed in the one near Grand Central with my son just 6 months ago...2 bunks and private bathroom. ..it was fine for just crashing at night...not cheap $169 but it is NYC and it was last minute
The Empire State Building was not outside of our window. We couldn't see it from our hotel. We saw it on another trip to New York, and it was in a different section of the city than the Pod Hotel.
@@tjrichez4297 I just looked at their website, and $88 is actually the standard price for the room in our video. We may have gotten it cheaper through Hotwire...it was May of this year, so I don't quite remember.
What is the smallest hotel room you have ever stayed in? Let us know in the comments!
Capsule hotel in Tokyo, they are nice if you are only using them to sleep
@@anelablanchard7720 Same as this hotel.
@@SealsontheMove much smaller,around $60- 70 a night

Fairfield Inn and Suites on 36th in Manhattan has extremely small rooms
Just booked this place for a last minute NYC adventure and it seems like it’ll be a great fit! Thanks for the vid!

Am looking at booking this for Sept 2024. Thank you for the review.
Thanks for your video! Very helpful to see what to expect when I get up there. Is the rooftop bar open yet?
When we went, the restaurant was closed. I did not see anything about a rooftop bar.
I loved this hotel, it’s so practical
Definitely practical.
Its so cute and the view is phenomenal from the rooms window
Unsure if this is answered, but can you store luggage under the bottom bunk? I’ll be staying here for NYE in 2 months
From what I remember, there is no room under the bed.
Did the hdmi connect to the tv? Planning on bringing my game console with me …. Only if there’s hdmi access of course
Our Roku connected via HDMI, so you should be fine. The HDMI on the TV works, not the HDMI that is in the wall.
im thinking about booking it
Im planning to stay here 4 nights on september with my brother, will you recommend it??
It was not my favorite hotel ever, and it is extremely cramped. I would stay somewhere else if you can afford it.
@@SealsontheMove Well, we are between this one or Radisson Midtown
@@BrissaRod Use Hotwire. They have great deals!
Not for the price they will be asking. You can definitely find better, more spacious accommodations for the price you will pay for 4 nights.
How was the AC? We're staying in mid Sept but with the heat being insane this month im wondering.
The AC worked just fine as far as I can remember ... we were there in May 2021, so it wasn't extremely hot.
Is there an mini fridge in there?
No, there is no fridge, unfortunately.
how much is per night for one person? This is cool!
As of now, the one we stayed in is $110 a night.
I just looked that place up, the price is way over priced for what you get. .
True. We used Hotwire and got it for cheaper than the going rate.
Noisy? Thanks!
Nope, it wasn’t noisy!
I might want to just go here for fun lol

Why, were you kicked out
Stay here great place for the price. Right in the middle of everything
"see a bunch of buildings.... I dont know what they are...." It's the EMPIRE STATE BUILDING!

In Hong Kong
Let me guess $500 a night for this crap because it's new York lol
Nah, it's more affordable than that. I used Hotwire and got it for around $89.
@@SealsontheMove alright good lol

Its a closet
Yes, pretty much.
The water doesn't make the pizza taste good. It's the Bagels. NY BAGELS 🥯 !
I’ll admit, I haven’t had the bagels when I’ve gone to New York. If you don’t like bagels on a normal basis, is it worth eating the New York ones?
Yes !😀
NY BAGELS are the best and they say it's because of the water they add to the flour to make the dough.
