- Thiis is the second part on this Hyundai HYM510SPE Lawn Mower that had issues with the variable pulley on top of the gearbox. We fitted a new gearbox and fitted a new belt to get this lawn mower back driving again and cutting grass.

Yes Ali, that was the case here, I normally clean them with a wire brush but I forgot lol

Looks to me like there is an other idler pulley missing on the right side of the straight run on the belt as there seems a hell of a lot of free length on that belt

@@retrorestore awwww good i know how much of a pain in the backside drives on mowers can be my neighbour bought at Auction an MTD Lawnflight ride on mower with a twin cutter deck and he thought it was all complete but when he got it home he tried it and it would drive forward and backwards but wouldn't cut so i had a look and the drive belt was missing so a new belt for it was around £100 so he had the great idea of going to a drive belt supplier and got one for £25 + vat couldn't find anywhere on the interweb on the routing of the belt because one cutter needed to turn clockwise and the other anti clockwise anyway through trial and error i got it to fit but the belt had to have a twist in it and criss cross itself what a nightmare of a job it was never again lol
Mine has done the same, the Left & Right Cogs do have L & R stamped on them so it helps if you do happen to mix them up, did you get gears 1 & 2 working?
