NATA B-A-K-A cool haha, i was playing it when i was young on ps2 well i just downloaded it on pc lol it was really fun but because i can't read anything when i was young i couldn't the good stuff, no strategy i wasn't able to beat the last battle with pegasus too but i beat that pegasus 14 times when i downloaded it again XD i think this is enough, it's a revenge haha
I download it from emuparadise just search in google and open the first site, but you should use the emulator pcsx2 to make the downloaded game work because it's a ps2 file game Amer Boss
It is underrated because the symbol system sucks. You cant have what ever attribute monster you like in your team because it is weak AF even at level 9. Also the MP restrictions is crap. Only the last area is worth playing. Also you have to start the story all over again to be able to get 2 more monster capsules and the problem is that you need 5 of each type.. That also sucks.

Players like Yu gi oh because it has many cool monster cards but in this game they are useless because a thrash started pack level 3 insect monster is way stronger than level 9 Blue eyes white dragon. You are locked into using only 2 type of attributes in this game. The game should allow you to boost all type of attribute stats the higher level your symbol is. Not just 2 attributes (in my case forest/water). If players cant play with their favourite monsters then what is the point of playing the game? This is why this game was underrated plush the game doesnt have any option to choose difficulty, for me the game was very easy, i only lost one time vs Shadi in the last area. And i never said anything about super effective attacks. Your argument is plain stupid.

I remember once when I was 7 Years Old while I was struggling to beat Yami Marik, I accidentally set up all Five Parts of Exodia without knowing that you could summon Exodia the Forbidden One and I ended up Obliterating him ;) I also dueled against my brother with my 3 Exodias against his 3 Blue Eyes White Dragons and that's when we first found out and fused Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, it was quite awesome

I got kind of annoyed that the games npc didn't level up on the second , third playthrough...I would of played it 10 times in a row if the characters kept leveling up there monsters

I remember my level 9 penguins marching together trying to destroy a monster one by one lol good job fusion those monsters for sure the wood/thunder monsters were the one I couldn't figure out fusion
I love this game, still have it to this very day. After I perfected my deck I used to look at the bestiary/model for the cards. The BEUD was my favorite since one head would occasionaly harass the other XD.
Opinions everyone: If this game was remade in the modern day, would each fusion receive an individual animation? Yes, no, partially? Edit: For a second I thought Exodia would get a unique fusion animation, but it was just the game lagging (well, and the camera angle on Yugi was slightly different).

It's weird, the sprite for twin-headed thunder dragon follows the art in the game, but in the anime it actually has two heads, not 1 head and a mouth on its back.
for the evolution's the only one I think could b missing is BLS (Black Luster Solider) and maybe Metal Zoa could be turned into Jinzo if they had done it right though I don't think it would b possible :P for Fusion's they are missing Red Eyes B. Skull Dragon, Master of Dragon Rider Knight (if they would have had Gaia evolve into BLS lol). If they could work out how to fuse Metal Zoa with a human type monster like either Gaia or maybe Flame Manipulator to create Jinzo as I do believe Jinzo is a Cyborg creature in the game of Yugioh.
Also Baby Dragon should have totally evolved into Thousand Dragon. I leveled him quite a bit since I was sure he would at some point before I checked a list and see it won't be happening.

These fusions seem counterproductive, since you lose on numbers and get very little improvement of stats and movement paterns. Do these fused monsters have powerful special abilities ?

Meteor B Dragon is actually in the game, you can only get it from Kaiba 2nd, regular Meteor Dragon IS in the game but went unused and can only be obtained via cheats, maybe the fusion is programmed too but who knows Black skull dragon is also in the game but once again is unused
Sanga (thunder) is received when you beat the game, after the credits. Save before battling kaiba, though because you get 3 random cards after the credits out of like 10. Just gotta hope you get sanga.

I remember the day I had my fire symbol playthrough: I only played fire and wind monsters cause these are the two which benefit the most from a fire symbol. In the final fight I had my launcher spider level 8 and it had a 726 atk rating or something easily killing every single monster of seto one shot. Fire was so op in this game. Even the wind monsters got up to 300-350 atk or so.
I just know this new . But i still can beat final boss with i have NORMAL Capsule like METAL ZOA . 3 head Blue eyes with Kangaroo fighter with out fusion. WithOut fusion of sanga thunder with 2 friends. i have them in normal capsule like normal summon lol.
after all this time, i didn't know u can fusion monster. now i wanna play again

I had the worst time with Bakura and the 1st Marik duel. I have no idea how, but I Bakura beat me more times than all the other opponents combined.

It’s actually a recolor of Two-Mouth Dark Ruler. The Anime did it justice.

A lot of these monsters aren’t always worth the fusion, because the movement or attack range (more often than not) aren’t increased or is decreased.
but you have to catch them all to be the very best like no one ever was.
Went and played this and I still enjoy this game...
Now I must do the master card game too!

I think it's because fusion materials are level 3 or more while fused monsters are level 1

Well, what Attribute do do you play?
If you play DARK, for example, your crystal effect will weaken your LIGHT and EARTH monsters, mainly in PP.
Forgot how many awesome monsters there were. Sadly no Meteor Black Dragon, or Black Skull Dragon.
