welcome, to the power of red, and rush brother. now you know why in OP06, Zoro and WB can still win / top events. red has ALWAYS been this powerful, and let me tell you if people knew how to be creative and build their OWN deck lists, this color would still be able to pack other decks sailing home.
Awesome! I'm looking forward to Dragon once he comes out and the different ways you can take him. Like how far to lean into revolutionary army. Also, love this style of video especially with the non-standard leaders like Foxy and Dragon
I will see what I can do, it does struggle vs Bonney a bit, but I think Bonney and BY Luffy are going to be the best decks in the format. I don't think I went against any BY Luffy's, but I think this deck would be pretty decent against it, not sure though, we'll have to see.
Been messing with this deck a lot since it dropped on sim. Feels really good to be able to be so offensive right at the start of the game. Great vid and gameplay
Trying out chaka and chopper now.. Can't believe I overlooked these. I've been playing jet pistol and really appreciate not having to waste swings on blockers or problematic characters, plus you can recycle the on you spent on it without much issue
Have you tried the op04 3c chaka? Its -3000 atk and KO a 0 cost character. So like chopper but its 6k swing on 1 don. No counter and doesnt block but it gets the same hate chopper gets so its a pseudo blocker. EDIT: There's also a baby Koza from EB01 but its at the cost of leader's atk going -5000 and needs to be active. Same as chaka/choper when attacking -3000. Last thing I can think of is running op05 fire fist event that does -4000 atk and ko 0 attack when you have 2 or less life. Dropping an 8k body to 4k or a 9k body to 5k should be easier to deal with.
Ya, I do think that Enel is VERY strong against this and all Aggro decks. I'm sure there are ways to improve the matchup, but I have not had enough time to playtest it against Enel in particular. In general, the best way to deal with Control is to go as wide as possible on the board.
Thank you for the video! I really like this leader. I wanted to ask you a question about the Koala from P-069. It seems it isn’t out yet in English. Do you know if it will be buyable any soon? If not, which card would you add instead in its place?
Ya, whichever way you take it going forward I would suggest including one of the Don Movers in the deck (Nami and Luffy for Strawhats, Haruta for Whitebeard, Koala for Revo Army, or whatever else random movers you can find for Red like Chaka).
Which 5 cost? Chaka or Luffy? I think Luffy is really strong in the deck, but Chaka might be a bit too slow when it comes to setup. The 8c Dragon is also very strong because he is one of our closers/finishers. Sorry if I misunderstood the question
@Vvulfrik I should of said chaka I am sorry. I also understand dragon is a finisher but I also never saw it a factor in the games u just played unless I am mistaken and missed something in the video. I also understand this is a small sample size of games to look at so maybe overall dragon is a great. Dragon dident seem necessary in the games we saw.
@@roderickstevn Gotcha, ya Dragon and Chaka could probably both go down to 2-of's. And if we cut both of those down, we could have 4 spots open up for that 2c Luffy, which just seems like a really strong card in the deck.
I think if you are making a deck that is exclusively Revo Army, Belo Betty is probably going to be a little more aggressive at the cost of card advantage. Dragon on the other hand is better at dipping into the other themes in Red like Straw Hat's or get benefits from Characters that take advantage of Rested Don while still taking advantage of the powerful Revo Army Effects from cards like Koala and Karasu.

awesome finaly a dragon video
awesome deck build! I'd love to see some gameplay into the top meta decks like Enel, boa, Bonney, BY luffy, etc

My favorite alabasta card is op05 Chaka. I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking of cooking Dragon with Chaka

A lot of good ideas here, I will try to put some of these to the test next time I run the deck
Need more gameplay against meta decks please (enel, bonney etc.
What do you think is the matchup between this deck and enel? I know enel shuts down zoro so I was curious of the interaction between the two

Thoughts on the red yamato being included in the deck?
Oh very nice, I overlooked that card, it could be really nice in the deck. It's a little bit slower like Chaka, but can work for sure.

Unfortunately I have no idea about Promo's the information is not easy to find (at least in my experience)
I played the revo army decklist. I like it. It still feels aggro but the don manipulating might be too good to not include

Red suffers from poor draw power to re-fill it's hand, no good board protection, and high quality blockers
Have you tried 8c dragon in red/yellow sabo?
Not yet, but I think it would be a great addition.
If you think the 5 cost is to late what do u think about rush dragon down to 2 or cut completely out the list

Rush strawhats with this leader is funny to me endless rush and endless 7k swings with lead
Seems so strong lol, a little bit gimmicky I guess in some ways, but sometimes it does feel nice to turn the brain off and just go face
koala is a promo card i wonder when we will get her and where
Dope ass video
Rush memes
Why would this be better than bello?

Belo has 1 less life and her constant discards kill her hand so fast. Black and Yellow can easily outlast her
