Also playing too much chess distracts you from the salah in two ways . a) delaying of salah b) while you are in salah, you will think about chess problems and positions, it utterly distracts you Secondly, for people who say it is good for the memory, instead of playing chess, memorize quran and hadith. It's better for your brain 😌 I'm talking from experience. So take care
why are you so obsessed with it to the point you are delaying salah? chess is a Mathematical game. chess can actually help you increase you ability to focus, memory and ability to manage stress. people who find difficult to memorize Quran Sharif or anything, can actually benifit from learning and playing chess in their free time, if they're managing their time responsibly.
@@PhantomDLX9987 where did you get this information, what he said is the Truth, you will find a lot of people who will delay it, and the sahaba prohibited it, the sahaba, not some late scholars, If you don't agree with them then I don't know what to say.
i don't agree with this. every professional and casual player plays chess with time limit for every player to win the game. rapid chess(10 or more minute for each player), blitz chess(3 to 5 minute) you cannot say something is haram just because it has the potential to waste time. if thats true then everything can waste time if you zone out. why not use your time responsibly, instead of cutting everything. it really doesn't even waste time unless you're playing classic chess. which you can pause and do whatever you want. in classic you can play one move in morning another at night.
Akhi be careful. I only want good for you brother, and I am trying to sincerely advise you. Please don’t take as an attack. I advise you to speak about Islam with knowledge. The Ulama (as said in the video) don’t only point to it wasting time. They also mention the statues(chess pieces), the crosses, and even if those are not present, Ali Ibn Abi Talib criticized it, so the Ulama said it was haram regardless. جَزَاكَ ٱللَّٰهُ خَيْرًا

this was hard for me to take in too, but when you think about it you actually always have chess in mind, it is a very "focus consuming" game.
It's not by agreeing, it's by following what the prophet ﷺ or his Companions or their followers said, or the correct opinion.
