Will be my first metal festival,concert ever. I’m 19 gonna be flying down from Maryland to see it with my friends in Florida. Can’t wait to get drunk and mosh. The law won’t stop me

As of right now, Slayer's two reunion dates are:
9/22 - Riot Fest - Chicago, IL
9/27 - Louder Than Life - Louisville, KY
This will be my 8th time going to this festival. Please consider trying to bring in the power/symphonic metal crowd. There's a great number of us here in Florida that listen to bands like DragonForce and Epica.
Because of the size of the Speedway, Would I be able to Walk Up to get tickets each day at the Gate?

Never been, want to go for 2024, how many songs does each band play before the next band gets on stage? Anything about the place that was good or bad??
@@memorablerides6807 The layout may be different this year, but typically opening bands do 6-9 songs, while the headliners play around an hour+, you can look at the set times for last year for a better understanding.

Because they'll be at Red Rocks in Colorado which is where I'll be! Even though I live in FL and lucked out on getting pre-sale ticket- That group is honestly worth seeing, even more than this entire line up!

I miss Rockville in Jacksonville... My first Daytonaville sucked bc of lightning... No KoRn and then front row for GnR minutes before they went on and... NOPE!! Put a bad taste in my mouth bc Mid May is ALWAYS T-Storm time in FL!??

Good lineup some artist just do not belong there jelly roll koe wetzel icp im sure there's people who enjoy them but its a rock concert lol
As someone who has spent thousands to go to these shows.... I'm kinda disappointed at the lineup this year.
Music festival as a whole have changed. I have seen and still listen to most of these bands but something does seem boring.

It’s going to be hard to beat last years line up for sure. But the overall experience is worth it, they have me at free water slide

There are some certifiable bangers on this list but a pretty weak lineup overall.
I laughed aloud at Evanescence and muttered "That's not rock."
Some I've never heard of but I just started listening to rock radio again, since prolly '19 or '20...
