    The balloon release had me in tears. I Lost my twin when I was just a baby, but I've always wondered. It's great that you do this for the family and Boaz.

      I am so sorry for your loss. You will be together again someday. It's difficult knowing how much Boaz wants to be reminded/acknowledged of his twin. I am "keeping the door open" for him to talk about it by taking flowers and releasing balloons each year on their birthday. He has lately been fascinated with the topic of pregnancy, birth, twins, and heaven.

    Peter dancing is iconic. What a hoot. Love it. My gestating little lady also loves to dance. To the point that I worry a little bit that she might rupture her amniotic sac... She's very strong and getting very tall. Kids really are one of life's most beautiful blessings.

    Thank you for your video. When I watched this I felt a sense of calmness, peace and an abundance of love. Do you ever have melt downs yourself or moments where it’s just too much for you?. How do you get your children to behave well like that while you’re all eating out?. Would like some advice, as my 3 year old is quite a handful and I struggle to guide him in his behaviour sometimes when we’re out in public. Thank you for the video again. God bless you and your beautiful family. 💜

    Just FYI, an air conditioner will typically only keep your house 20° to 25° cooler than that of the temps outside of your house. So if it was 120° outside, 79° inside is really good.

      Not all breakfasts can be made the night before, but I prepare as much as I can, even if it's just setting the skillet on the stove and cracking the eggs. It's amazing how long it takes to crack 2 dozen eggs, so every little shortcut the night before helps.

    You could film one of these every week and I wouldn’t get tired of it! What you said about people complimenting children’s well behavior in public is SO true for us, also! However, it’s better than those backwards insults like “oh your children are so well behaved- are they robots?” It’s frustrating how good behavior is so rare to see in our children’s society.
    Do you guys have a very large house? I’m curious about sleeping arrangements for 10 kids. We currently have all boys, so we arrange them in a buddy system (one older-one younger) and spit them between two rooms (bunks and a single in each). How do you guys arrange? Lord willing if He gives us a girl, he gives us multiple close together, ha!
    Beautiful family! We’ve been praying for Pastor A, also. God Bless

    • @AreTheyAllYours
      @AreTheyAllYours  5 років тому +1

      No, our house is actually considered very small for a family our size: about 1600 sq ft, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. All the boys sleep in one bedroom (about 250 sq ft with bunk beds), the girls in another (150 sq ft with bunk beds), the smallest bedroom (100 sq ft) for us parents plus the baby. We also have an office/den that has a guest bed in it for company. I hated staying in bigger houses while our home was being remodeled. So much more work to keep clean, plus the kids were forever disappearing instead of doing school work or whatever else they were supposed to be doing. We had considered moving to a bigger house, but not after that experience.
      I am a minimalist, and love having experiences over stuff. Stuff just causes clutter, work, and stress.

    • @AreTheyAllYours
      @AreTheyAllYours  5 років тому +4

      We do, but we only eat at it for holidays. I prefer to eat in peace and quiet without the inevitable interruptions that lots of little kids bring, so I usually eat before or after everyone else. While they eat, I clean the kitchen, so I like to keep the little kids close at the counter to keep and eye on them, refill their cups and plates, wipe spills, etc. My husband usually eats at the counter with the four youngest kids, while the rest eat at the big table in the school room.
