Do you soak the pine needles before use or are you using dry needled?

I generally don’t soak them. If they are dry I will dampen them slightly.

What are your yellow and blue threads and where do I buy them?

I am using a sky blue and a light yellow, I’m not sure of the numbers, but they are 2-ply waxed Linhasta thread in 1 mm size. I generally order from Craft Cord Terra on Etsy however there are lots of suppliers on Etsy. I’ll check the numbers at home in my book and post here for you

You start out with about 4 pine needles tied to the center, then gradually add until you get the size of coil you want. I generally add 1 pine needle every other stitch until I get the size of coil I want.
