lol... in about 1996-1998 (so long ago i can't remember exact date) I purchased a Plextor SCSI (i think 4x?) CD Burner (before DVD burners) for $1200. Shit is so cheap in comparison these days.
@@promethean44 I remember seeing catalogs back then... I forgot what magazine, but there was a section that showed blu ray players from a handful of brands... all of them $1000... only the absolute rich of the rich would've had them back then
@@Bicketybam68 oh wow a CD burner? it cost that much? jeez how far we've come man lol. I mean yeah I miss old times, but I could never go back due to the things we'd miss out on
I understood the words the narrator said but it sounded like someone reading copy that had no idea what it meant and didn't know where to put the emphasis.
They are dedicated high quality drives that can be used everywhere, the price speaks for longevity and quality of the drives. They also have some super advanced features. If you dont believe me they can easily read a super scratched cd.
Your best, BDR-Xs06, works with Mac operating system, well what about Windows operating system? So it leaves half of us out?--and that was your best? (This video's from 3 years ago, so I don't expect a reply--today's best optical drive will allow both Mac and Windows operating systems).

I keep hearing that it works well for: playing DVD's, Blu-ray, CD's, and burning. But what if you want to play a PC video game? Does it work?

Will any of these work on an Acer Chromebook?
Will this work for Chromebooks? Could this connect to a tv?

Is it region locked for movies?
Need one
Will it work with CD roms
If i connect it to led tv. Does it work.
No. Buy a bluray player for TV instead.
Could one of these work on a xbox?
@”Victor - Слава Україна” Could you download that app on a usb stick and upload it to the xbox? If you're not an internet/live user?

this is an EXTERNAL drive. you can connect INTERNAL ones (you build into your PC) to your motherboard, but not to CPU

Does it work with windows 10
I have the Asus in this vid. Yes. It worked plug and play with Windows 10 right out of the box. FYI i already had powerDVD18.
