- In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
Thank you!!!
Where can I buy EM?
people MAKE nettle and compost teas - likely that is a form of EM. Or on ebay (better than Amazon for ethical reasons, and you do not need very fast delivery for EM). Amazon appeals to instant gratification for consumer goods.
A local compost maker or organic farm might help out.
Not enough information on the biohacking side.
Yep,disappointing. I have IBS and I need some biohacking...
I wish she had a twitter, it would be great posts
Quite shocking the lack of audience for this lecture 😮
This could have been great if my right ear could hear it.
Hahaha. I thought it was my earbuds, and I needed new ones.
Thanks for letting us know we're not the only ones. 👍😂
In my case, the left speaker was not working. I wish she had said what EM bacteria was and where to get it.
Is em essentially probiotics - a different form or just a different title for it? I wish this lady elaborated on what exactly em is so we could buy it.
VSL#3 on steroids?
Did you ever find out? I'd like to know.
@@ThatOneScienceGuy did not ever figure it out
@@mcjonner She mentions Dr Teruo Higa. He is the maker of these "effective microorganisms." He has a website. You can check it out. I haven't looked yet but I bet there's info there about it.
Sound is only coming out of the left channel; if you're wearing headphones you can pull out your headphone jack halfway-ish and it'll go mono to both ears but at reduced volume. But yeah Tim Farrow that's why it's not working for you probably.
Thanks for the tip! It worked, except instead of reduced volume it's about the same and slightly clearer audio (for me at least)
The Wikipedia article for 'Effective Microorganisms' says that actual tests carried out, including multiple year tests, shows no improvement between soil treated with "EM" control soils.
Brian Bixby unfortunately Wikipedia is totally corrupted by the powers-that-be that like to use drugs instead of natural methods. I'm sure they have what Wikipedia set Wikipedia offers. It's a shame!
Wikipedia is often worse than useless. Anyone can edit it and if you look at the editing history you will be amazed at how many times it can be edited in a few hours! Qualified people with a vested interest, like Monsanto scientists for example, can edit articles to suit their own agenda. And they do.
Hello Mono my old friend..... also this lady is really attractive.
I can't hear this,what a pitty
15:00 talks about using newspapers in photos for documenting date (unnecessary, the audience can figure that out even if they are younger), makes an off hand remark about a huegle bed and ? frost blanket, but does not bother at all to elaborate on that even though many in the audience have likely very little idea what she is talking about (I understood huegel bed because I already know of the concept). - Priorities ! And doing your lecture with the audience in mind, instead of chasing the witty remarks about newspapers used in photos.
It's EggErs, not EggArs. Just FYI.
