I wouldn't even call this a ninja movie, they only call it "3 Ninjas" to bank off the popularity of the Ninja Turtles. The characters in this film aren't even using Ninjitsu, they're using Karate. America back then didn't know the differences until Naruto aired on 2002. What this movie could've done is hire actors/ninjas like Shō Kusugi, Sonny Chiba and Frank Dux as coaches and choreographers.

A simpler way to teach the young actors Ninjitsu during filming is by having them play arcade brawlers with ninjas such as Final Fight, Ninja Combat, and Ninja Gaiden: Shadow Warriors. But they would rather promote Super Mario Brothers 3.
Wow those deleted scenes were a nice surprise! Cant believe ive been watching the cut version for 30 years! Still love the movie and those three dudes are awesome!
Saw this at 10 years old in the theater when it came out. Love it! All us kids on the way out of the theater were doing ninja moves with our parents trying to calm us down. Movie definitely captures the time period being a kid then I miss it a lot sometimes! Far more optimistic colorful time period. This movie and it's cheesiness is very fun and comical to watch now and laugh at how seriously I took this stuff as a kid. Fester and his 2 other "DUDE" guys are hilarious! Finally this must be some kind of alternate cut because I've never seen some of these scenes before. Original ends much differently as they had already won their bikes back in the other cut simply by winning the basketball game.
