Hey Desy, good video - that little zippered compartment in the main section I think is primarily to remove the plastic frame sheet which provides a bit more structure to the pack and separates the two sections a bit. Agree, great pack.
Same here. I own a few Aer products and they are awesome. Def go with the Xpac. I use to think the bright orange was stupid until I got the fit pack and now can't imagine getting a bag without it. The able carry also looks sleek and might try them out. But Aer is definitely a solid choice.
i do like the front organization panel on this bag much better. However I do prefer the City pack Pro and how it can open up all the way. If I had to choose one, I would choose the Tech Pack 3. I really like the XPAC material. It has a much more rigid bottom so it can stand up on its own better!
Completely agree but I think this looks like a higher quality bag based on appearance. But the CPL has some nice features like the slot for a water bladder. This bag is great and more streamlined and looks better for office commutes

The main compartment not opening all the way is an odd design.
It may be because of the water bottle pocket, but they made it work with their pro pack
yeah i agree, it would have been better if it opened up all the way!
Great review!
thanks!
The bag looks cool, but that retina burning inside color I wouldn't be able to use daily.
yeah that orange is real intense, but seems that on the aer website there have a gray inside color for the bag.
the video might have made it look more intense than it actually is, but its not too bad, i like it!
@@DesmondCheng Good to know, thanks!
22L version would be sick
agreed!
love your review! can you review able carry products. i cant decide between AER vs Able Carry!
i only have 1 of the able carry bags! if they send me more, ill do some =)

Great review. I wonder if it has more room in main compartment comparing to Tech Pack 2. This was a big downside for me.
unfortunately i dont have the tech pack 2 with me anymore so i cant really compare! but i found this size adequate for what it is!
When you put the laptop in the bag, is the bottom of the bag padded or suspended like some bags to prevent it from striking the floor?
Laptop and tablet sleeve in same compartment are both suspended and don’t touch the bottom
I’m torn between this and the City pack pro. Analysis paralysis has set in. What’s your take as to the better organized model?

@@DesmondCheng thank you! Great video and insight. Ordered the Tech X PAC. Looking forward to using it!
@@dominicgallo6998 awesome, good decision!
Does the non x-pack version have waterproof zippers?
only at the back laptop compartment zipper
I’m really torn between this and the Evergoods CPL 16

@@Capcuteditssqueenis this bag too bulky to take when going to a coffee shop or dining out with the fam?
