I think if people look beyond their current perceptions of the brand (which is still rooted in value, but is gradually moving into value for quality EV) then this should be a success, its got presence to rival anything else at the price and is certainly the most exciting EV at that price. If a company like Jag launched this, even at £20-30k more, they would sell very well. PS. It's spelled Cyberster - may want to update title.
Thanks for watching, it certainly does have presence to rival others at the price and the brand is moving into value for quality. Title duly noted and I will update.
It's huge compared to a MX5 they reckon it's about the same size as a Jaguar F Pace, even the staff at the MG Dealership did not realise how big it was compared to say the MGF/TF.
They have never built a sports car unless you include the tf kits they built. They are not MG. They are a Chinese manufacturer and the only connection they have with the great British marque is the rights to the name they purchased from rover's Administrators. Wouldn't have one if they gave them away.
How to shave $15,000 off the pricetag: 1) Normal doors. (And they should be normal doors, simply for practicallity). 2) Analogue gauges and controls. No one wants "screens". (Sure, a small one centered, for your map and music. But NOT for speed...) 3) Remove any and all electro wiz bang fancy bullshit. No cabin lighting. No 420 separate customizable screen displays. Power locks, power windows, power mirrors. Fuck all the rest.

Best, British design for style and Chinese made for quality.
Congratulations on hitting 600 subscribers
Thank you.
Thanks for this preview of the new Cyberster Davy. I like it i must admit. It's a shame its not built in Britain but i think it'll sell well
I think it will be a huge success for MG and I agree it would have been nice to be built in the UK.
I honestly wanted to like it, but it feels too much like it could be a Mazda MX5

It's a sexy looking sportscar with incredible performance.
The problem is the weight.
Close to 2 tons!!
