The sheath has heen great for me for IWB. I took the lanyard and cut a small thumb sized loop and tied it into lanyard hole. When im in need of the blade i simply place my hand under my shirt insert my thumb through the loop so that the top of the loop is resting against the top of my thumbs middle knuckle and pull straight up. i instantly have a very firm 4 finger tip down grip. For me the bottom hook of the belt clip hooks the waist seam of my levis perfectly every time. i do not wear a belt. the sheath pulls up roughly an inch before deployment consistently. Im loving the deckhand so far!
