The strong statements about Pakistani fundamental rights violations from US, UK and EU are noteworthy as since past 2 years these same violations have been deliberately ignored as an "internal matter" even when their own dual citizens were detained after 9 May events. It is not believable that suddenly they have developed a great compassion for Pakistani people. The Ukraine war is still ongoing and Pakistani weapons may be needed in future again. The reason for the sudden Congressman policy change has to be to pressure Pakistan and get the Pakistani American votes in the house of representatives election this year. Likely also to help implement the additional oil money and weapons sanctions imposed on Iran last week or to let militants cross into Iran to distract it from the middle east proxy war.
