Cool to see Freddy Martin working the brass. I marched Spirit of Atlanta in 1980 when he was our corps director.

wow, just wow... Freddy Martin... simply a legend... I had the awesome opportunity to experience Spirit of Atlanta hornlines in person from 1978 thru 1980... I cannot put into words what I heard... it was as though Heaven opened up and rained beautiful, sweet, brassy sounds to the Earth... G bugles... it was totally immersive... it is on my 'bucket list' to meet this legend in person during Finals Week and thank him for those experiences!
