When you fell over it's cause you opened a trap box, it gives you a timed kill buff you can see on your hud called "Data Key (Destructive)" you can only get rid of by solving the puzzle it's connected to :)
ah, i didnt know that killed you. im well aware of the europa puzzles, but i never knew those killed you. they never have killed me before, it just ends, which is why i found it weird haha, and it normally doesnt say misadventure unless i just havent been paying attention 🙃

I just learned this and i honestly never thought about using my sparrow as the ledge and my grenade as a ramp if needed. You literally just opened sooo many doors for me😂😂
haha, i've been using my sparrow as a ledge and nades as ramps and ledges for movement tech for a long time, i'm glad i gave you some ideas!

I just can't get this tech down. I always end up using my double jumps as soon as i bounce from the object i'm skating to
it could be that you're doing it slightly too early, what i did to hit the surfs for the video was start spamming really late after hitting whatever sloped surface i was using to surf, and then continued doing it earlier and earlier until i hit it. hope this helps you! good luck! :D
Yeah I still don't know how to pull this off. Seems like when I "spam jump" upon contacting a surface my dude either sticks to the surface while running, or I get a little jump in and my momentum is killed 💩
yeah that can happen sometimes! try some areas that are sloped 45-50 degrees (ish), what helped me hit the surfs for the video when i was recording was doing the spamming really late, then doing it earlier and earlier until i hit it. hope this helps! :D
@OhhMyJosh_ how fast do you spam jump like do you destroy the button or like 2 or 3 times a second

@sebastian_blair6685 honestly, you can do it at a pretty steady pace and not destroy your jump button. i think 3-5 times a second should be a good area, but if you have issues with falling try doing it a little bit faster! :D
@OhhMyJosh_ I haven't even tried yet I just was asking for when I try I can well skate with default controller and keybinds so can't be that much harder right

Trust me, find random sparrows around the map and surf off of them. You can use them as the shops to activate a surf, and you can use a sparrow to activate a skate. 2 sparrows= air surf anywhere
Edit: he does use sparrows to start a skate in the video. But my point still stands
haha yeah, using sparrows as platforms is something i am very used to doing! :D
@OhhMyJosh_ I've been trying to think of potential speedrunning uses for the double sparrow airsurf that me and my buddy called goobleskating because we're stupid. The only things I have are dsc, prophecy, and nightfalls. I wanna see if they're any faster that any current tech, or if they let me get out of bounds
a double sparrow air surf would be nuts for a speedrun! if anything, i know root of nightmares doesn't let you summon, but i bet you could get a crazy line up in the running sections.

you have to spam decently fast to keep flying, but also sometimes it just wnds by itself because you lose speed. you can't fly infintely!

Do you need to bind scroll wheel to execute this? Also must you keep spamming jump for the duration of the surf?
nope! some of these clips i was spamming with space bar, and some was with scroll wheel. it's actually really easy to spam with space bar and hit really good surfs!
edit: yes, you have to spam the entire time you're in the air!

idk what i m doing wrong but every time after some time in the air my guardian doing double jump and stop surf
it depends on your speed, you will *eventually* stop surfing, but the surf might be longer or shorter depending on the area!

No, also gpools is already super easy to get to now bc of upbox so there isnt really any reason that this would be used to get there

hey! what i did to help me hit these when i was recording was starting the spamming noticeably late, then do it earlier and earlier until i hit it and got consistent. doing it in other spots besides the first spot shown in the other guy's video in the intro can help, because that first spot on earth is kinda... meh.
