Thank you for another Sunday video!
This was great! Love to listen to your decision-making process and your active learning! Creating a new tool sounds about right for you!
Nice job on the barrel cutter fix. No problem with being proud of yourself for improving your skills.
Number 4 looks great!
I'm a huge fan of nose warmers - I do like the shape of your creation, nice sized bowl.
Nice looking pipes Mike. Thanks for sharing ;-)
Great video. 💨
Good Afternoon 😊 Awesome Video👌🏽 Beautiful Pipes 😍 Thanks for the chat and sharing a smoke with me 🌬💨💨 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Awesome video. Your solution for squaring up the face of the shank is genius. I hope to learn more about the bowl coating that you're experimenting with.
Thank you! Unfortunately it looks like the bowl coating needs some work as it flaked off once the bowl heated up. Trial and error 😉👍
Fantastic pips Mike, I like #4. Let me know when you’re taking pre orders. LOL
Enjoyed the video and chat, I usually listen to your Sunday videos while working.
Hope you’re having a great week.
Regards
Mark
Thanks!!! I am multi-tasking this morning…church service on one UA-cam channel and CRP on the phone…
I'm honored...I think ;-)

Always like hearing about the intricacies of pipe construction. I'd be interested in hearing about your new method used to drill the airway. I can only imagine how little room there is between perfection and error on the saddle bits. There's something about a nice billiard that just feels right to the eyes when viewed. Nice work my friend.
super pipe mike sincerely
You're coming along very well. I missed last week's video. I'll have to go watch it. Hope you and your wife have a great day
Thanks Scott, don't watch it if your not interested. I just thought it was interesting that it under-performed so much. You can't predict what people will like.
@@CaneRodPiper I love the films from back then.
💫 Craftsmanship.
Good Morning Mike happy Sunday awesome video I like the one your smoking it's nice it looks like alot of birds eye on it too mike I like that the stem is very thin I'm smoking some MALTESE FALCON IN the peterson Kinsale full bent pipe enjoy that pipe buddy 😃👋🔥💨☕
I like number 4 best. It's a Liverpool, The slim shank is great. Cheers.
Thank you!
I like the shape of number 4. It's interesting watching your experimentation and development as a pipe maker.
I also kinda get a kick out of all the "controversial " topics in our pipe community. Bowl coatings, cake, break in, shape names, packing methods, cleaning methods, filters, softie bits, torch lighters, latakia pronunciation, to wax or not, plume/mold, cellaring/ aging. Did i miss any?😂
I think you hit them all...except one I will not mention 😉🤣🤣👍
Appreciate you sharing your method of breaking in a pipe. I recently picked up a Barling and was trying to figure out what to smoke in it first. My choice will be KBV Burley Morning Pipe. It’s my favorite blend and what I smoke more of than everything combined. A simple idea that never occurred to me. Thanks.
The chair you are sitting in looks very comfortable, I'm searching for a new chair.
I got it at Staples years ago. I think it is called a gamer chair. Very comfortable.
When I buy a pipe, I'm happy if it has a bowl coating.
I'm really enjoying this pipe making challenge you've set for yourself. Any chance of a "making of" video, similar to some of your restoration technique videos? I think the idea of learning along with you would be fascinating.
I'll think about it. I would like to, but it's a lot of work to set something like that up, and it takes a lot of time. But if I can find the time, I'll definitely try 😉👍
Totally understand.
👍👍
Your pipe making skills are progressing apace! Clever use of the pen making tool!
I found a great lighter utube channel! It's Histoir d'une Flamme. He has regular long form videos and great shorts to go through. All sorts of lighters. Rare, old and newer ones. Very informative.
His collection ois extensive, but I bet he has no Ronson clear-vue dry fly model! LOL
Thanks Michael I will check him out. And I bet he is not a very lucky guy like someone else that has a very special lighter to restore...soon 😳😉👍
I will have Heather check out the horror movies video when she gets back from Spain…it’s right in her wheelhouse…she’s a big horror fan (novels mostly) and has a large collection of Stephen King books and memorabilia.
Hi Mike! Would you please search the link to the site where to buy one of the Tamper Tantrum tampers? Keep up the great work--I enjoy your videos! Thanks!
Hi Nicholas, I have a message in to Jeff to see if he has any available and to get the link to his Etsy store. I'll update when I hear back from him. Thanks for watching 😉👍
@@CaneRodPiper Thank you, Mike!
You do amazing work. How would I go about getting one of your pipes for my collection.
Thank you. I'm not ready to let any out of the shop because I'm experimenting with the process. Maybe some day after # 10. Stay tuned 😉👍
That's odd, I thought pipe smokers liked the horror genre, or maybe it's just Eric 🤣🤣 Maybe do pipe smoking in 70s horror movies?? 😅 Beautiful pipes Mike! Enjoy the day my friend! 👍😎👊🪙🐖
🤣👍
I like them all. Do you sell them and if so where? I looked around and couldn’t find out.
Not yet, I'm still learning. I want to make 10 billiards before I consider selling. But I might be making some of those preshaped stummels into pipes and selling those in the near future. Stay tuned 😉 👍
