Dude, what a steal. I’ve got the exact same one. Dad bought it new in the 60’s and he ran the house on wood. I’ve got it now and still get wood with it. Runs great. Sooo cool to see you do a video on it. Thanks so much!
Enjoyed that one mate I love using my vintage saws and yea your teeth rattle out and your arms buzz for a while later but good fun .I cut up a K&N car filter panel to shape for my old saws . Just a thought
That's a great saw you got there! I bought my s-10 almost 20 years ago at a yardsale for $50 cdn. Been my go to saw ever since. Even over my stihl 460 haha. Check out saw parts canada. They carry alot of the older parts, take it easy!
would love a Mac mate! could be a leaky carby not getting enough fuel through or too much air! check out tin man saws on UA-cam bloke has heaps of good videos fixing old saws 🍻
Fuck yeah, much more calmer vid mate, last one had me thinking I needed to take the young fella’s ADHD meds to get me to the end 😂 thinking by some of your snide comments, you thought the same 🤣.
Rate the saw vids mate and the channel. I was a Stihl trained mechanic for 8 years in a former life in the. Late 90s/2000s Hit me up if you need any help with the saws
Cheers mate appreciate it! Iv got an old 041 av electronic I’m playing around with at the moment! Doesn’t have any spark so I’m assuming it’s the ignition coil! Waiting or a fly wheel puller so I can get into it and try work it out 😂
@@BushRats plug...plug gap...high tension lead...coil..coil to flywheel gap....elec ignition unit or simply the stop switch... The coil and ign unit can jerks to test....sometimes they work when cold.....sometimes they need to be hot.,. All are as important as each other when the system is 40 years old.
@@cameronbennier yeah it’s not the plug or the plug lead by the looks haha so much to check 😅 still new to the tinkering but I’m sure I will work it out eventually 😂 so it wrong 6x but get it right on the 7th 😂
@@cameronbennier yeah on second look it’s definitely been played with. Got some soldering going on here and there and some loose screws on the coil! Once this fly wheel puller comes I will get it all apart and definitely hit you up mate! Would love to just replace the whole unit but damn they are expensive if ya can even find one!
Keen for some more chainsaw videos
