UPDATE: The cheap mic on this video (still awsome and cheap) has gone up in price. Here's the video about that: ua-cam.com/video/2I6HcqwXbuk/v-deo.html
Again, THANK YOU for such a Thoughtful Review of these two less expensive Ear Mics. I'm looking for this type without paying for am expensive one🙏, By the way, I really like the Comedic Cut-ways! Keep up the super Reviews!
Great video. I remember ordering a $15 mic on amazon to help troubleshoot referencing a bad cable on my Countryman. I found they didn't sound all that much different. Nice to know I'm no tripping.
Thank you so much sir. Please guide me. We were using only hand held wireless mic.But now want to add hands free. But how to make sure that it matches the system?
I'm just watching your video about the Polsen headset mic. It's just what I've been looking for as a busker. Have you come across any comparably inexpensive battery powered transmitter/receivers?
A little advice, stop with all the cut scenses to the "funny" clips. They do not make your videos more intresting in my opinion. After the 5th one in less than 5 minutes one, I clicked off the video and went elsewhere
Hi I’m wondering what pack do I buy for the 79 pound mic I don’t know about the pack and receiver as I’m doing a one man show and looking for the pack that fits the mic? Thankyou
www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1454074-REG/polsen_esm_1_ta4_single_sided_earset_microphone.html for the polsen now $15 www.amazon.com/s?k=avl+jeffe+630&crid=1XCRYWUBA1KGO&sprefix=avl+%2Caps%2C282&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_3_4 for the AVL Jefe - $79
The Polsen does need phantom. It's designed for wireless. We've not tried it wired to a console directly. -- It comes wired to go on a bodypack transmitter.
hey, really interesting & helpful video. I'm pretty new to this stuff. Pardon me if this is a dumb question but, can you use that cheap Polsen headset mic without a wireless, basically cabled directly to a small Fishman PA. This shure would beat carrying around a mic stand for busking. Thanks

Do you have a link for the $9 mic please? Or a brand name?
It's on the screen breifly: polsen rsm-1-35h . I see it on Amazon for $20 right now.
Yeah, the price just went up... we just did a video on it. ua-cam.com/video/2I6HcqwXbuk/v-deo.html
Hi, I would like your opinion about the updated version of headsets without the need of the transmission pack and the kind of bug transmitter thanks
Put link in description
Thank you for the great video. Both are omni. Any cardiode available?

Thankyou
you didn't address the omnidirectional mics on these... omni mics are horrible for untreated room, or loud locations...
Any tips on getting this mic to stay on my ear? I have the AVL Jefe but I can’t seem to get it to stay on…
I use clear surgical tape behind the ear for all single earset mikes
Thank you! For elementary age..what kind of transmitters/receivers would you recommend?
A decent low cost option is the Shure BLX
Another option is Sennheiser's XSW Series
My favourite sound from this video is the Jefe.
Me too.
Hello thank you for the video is it possible to provide a link to where I could obtain these cheap microphones?

Does the Polsen need phantom power??

You'll need power. With a Rode XLRV+ adapter , can plug into phantom power
@@3a5gih41hmm. Why “power”? None of these appear to be condenser mics that would require phantom.
Also, wondering if the Polsen is a directional or omni-directional mic ?
Omni. When used close cardio isn't a huge advantage unless you have monitor.
The only AVL Jefe mics that are showing up for me are £90.
