Gorod tracks always slap. They've never released any bad material. I still listen to their old stuff all the time too. Leading Vision has a special place in my heart.
Gorod and First Fragment are the best from the 2000s. Check out FF if you haven't one already, you won't be disappointed. French-Canadian neoclassical tech death insanity at its best - with some Gorod influences.

I haven't listened to a Gorod album since Neurotrophic and they just popped into my head and damn, this is some good shit! I have slot of catching up to do.

To each their own, but to me the drum sound on Transcendence is borderline overproduced, too overbearing and overly loud in the mix, while the drum sound of Aethra sounds just right. Crisp and punchy =/= "good" and appropriate.
Why is the vocalist who’s arguably the weakest part of this band so dominating in the mix? Gorod is great because of the rhythm and melody and they are being totally repressed in these two singles they’ve dropped. The drums sound like they dampeners on the skins… How is it that their sophomore albums had better mixes than an album so late in their career? Don’t get it
Even though the 4 musicians are godlike, I wouldn't call the vocalist weak. He brought a lot of variety to Gorod, and was brilliant in Zubrowska. He's a welcome change from the generic death metal vocalist

Somehow this band just keeps gettin better, if we get another Aethra level album that would just be obsurd honestly
You just said they keep getting better though.. implying that it’s so far better than Aethra.
Not necessarily better they were amazing right out the gate but they manage to make every album sound different and yet unmistakably Gorod.
