Revitalising traditional Māori games: Māui Hīanga event underway

A national event is being held at Hoani Waititi Marae today called, Māui Hīanga: Te Hui Taonga Tākaro is about the revitalisation of traditional Māori games and activities. The goal of the hui is to foster the next generation of leaders, creating pathways for rangatahi to take up the mantle of these treasured practices. Mārena Mane has this story.
