Yep, clear and very approachable for “normal” people and not gym junkies…😀

Thank you for excellent suggestions. I bought a power tower on sale. I have been liftng free weights a lot but not progressing. I got the idea for body weight exercises, got the (under)powered power tower and couldn't figure it out. Unti I watchef your video. Then I brought up a chair for one side and a rail for the other side now I'm working the muscle groups I'll have to recruit to get the pull up. I feel better, my posture is improving, and I'm getting stronger again. Thank you for your inspiring and educational video

Thanks for the regressions! What are your thoughts on the weighted pull-up machine in gyms to build up to using a non-assisted pull-up?

I personally have used the assisted pull up machine and have progressed within a month or 2, going from 0 bodyweight reps to 7 bodyweight reps... but you can even just get yourself to the top of a pull up bar (stand on a bench or box) & resist the eccentric like she said in the video... that's the best way to get stronger in pull ups

Yes a pull up machine is a really good way of getting more pull ups! It's a better alternative than the banded pull ups as its more controllable and the assistance is more consistent.
Just need to be careful to not "get stuck" at a weight, and keep pushing lower and lower!

Hey Jenni / Tom … Could you switch out the Aussie and Low Bar Pull Ups for gym rings? Eg horizontal ring row and have the rings higher to replicate a low bar version?
