    I’ve just started cosentyx doing the 5 weekly injection then once a month, however I’m on two immunosuppressants methotrexate as well weekly. Autoimmune disease really sucks!

      @@andreal3239 I would love to hear more about both of your experiences. I have been on Humira, and I am currently on Embrel, but I want to get on Cosentyx. It is what my doctor wanted to get me on when switching from Humira, but insurance wanted me to try Embrel first. It has been better than Humira in some ways, but they work the same, so I still have many of the same issues. The up side hs been no Humira hangover, but the injection is more painful, and i have had way more injection site reactions with Embrel. I keep getting skin infections on both of them, though. I would love to hear why the switch to Cosentyx and how it is going!

    I noticed that it did clear up my skin to a degree, but I'm not having the excellent results that some people are. Also I tend to get a lot of side effects just after taking the shots because I have to take two for to get to 300 mg. Also maybe this video was sped up, but you do have to hold it in until all the medicine has released which takes about 10 seconds and then you have to hold it for another 10 seconds before you lift it out. That ensures that all the medicine is delivered into your system. I've actually had it squirt back out if I pull it out before the 10 seconds. Anyway everyone has a different experience but that is what the instructions say and how my doctor told me to take it. The side effect that I get the most is a terrible headache that lasts for several days and swelling. It doesn't help my joint pain. Will be discussing this on next visit.

    I start on Tuesday! Can't wait! Thank you for this. The thigh injection seems much more pleasant than the belly one, that's for sure.

    Started a year ago, all my psoriasis disappeared. Everywhere I had psoriasis has now been replaced with vitiligo. And my face that never had severe psoriasis has also been affected. It’s a bunch of bullshit but at least now I’m not getting the severe arthritis effects. Silver lining and all that.

      What are your symptoms since using? Any side effects? Allergic reaction?
      Etc etc etc. Same psoriasis, getting any better?
      I just started watching all these review and going through comments. Yours I believe is the only one I heard being on Cosentyx for that long.

    Why did you stop Humira? How do you feel after Cosentyx? Is it working for you?

  • @taniamunoz7817
    @taniamunoz7817 Рік тому

    I started using humera and it was painless and helped me so much pretty much by the next day I felt a complete release. I got an allergic reaction and they switched me to consentx and I can say for me it was extrémalo painful applying it (not painless like humera) and I have to inject 300 mg a week so I would inject two pens at once one on each leg and it really hurt . Still after my fifth time applying my finger joints still hurt.🥺

      It’s a prescription. Your dermatologist needs to write it for you and send it to your pharmacy. You need good insurance, too.
