You forgot the worcestershire sauce. It adds a nice tanginess and adds a nice bit a moisture; adding barbaque sauce also helps add moisture and a nice sweet and tanginess, I recommend Sweet Baby Ray's but as long as it isnt too sweet or too tangy it should be fine no matter the brand.
Dude with or without it this dish is trash, u need to stuff the meatloaf, in Italy we put hard boiled eggs prosciutto and mushrooms, maybe also cheese, this recipe is a gigantic boiled meatball with a tiny crust

meatloaf is the bomb if you make it correctly, personally I once cooked I cut a 2.5/10 or less sized slice out to eat them I let it sit in the fridge(something happens on there making it more flavorful idk how) then the following day In cut a slice then cut it into equal sizes adding more of the ketchup like sauce and putting it into the air fryer. At this point their bite sized, crunchy on the outsides soft on the inside, taste better, and is now possible portable(never tried but seems like it would be portable like beef jerky).
Meatloaf is a depression era meal. The bread crumbs or oats or whatever grains you throw in is to help pad out the meat which was expensive. Ground being the cheapest lead to meatloaf, and things like the slug burger which does the same thing.

Meatball in loaf form is a pretty good way to describe it and you can alter the recipe to taste and texture as such.
