Staples were really something I had to get over. Nowadays it's the cutting that can be wonky by the security strip on modern notes...it's how they were issued and it must be fairly dismissed. .
I enjoy odd denominations. I have all of them from Burma and Myanmar. A thirty from Vietnam. 3 from Russia and Cook Islands. Some 40s. A 22. 70. I think a neat video might be just all the denominational digits on banknotes from the smallest 1 to the largest...100 trillion...
I think an article was published in the magazine that IBNS published on this idea. I am no longer a member so I don't know if there was ever a follow up article.
Imagine there only being 10piece and 25piece, such as US$ dimes and quarters. Like what they do now in Canada (10c smallest, I think). Similar? one doesnt need smaller like 5c. So, 15,30,35,35+15,45+15, etc. just round it. But pointless at 3000-5000kyat to the dollar.
Thanks for sharing and so cool to see the commemorative denominations - great information regarding the staples.

So far only have the 30 in this series. Thanks for the details on this note.
You are welcome. Wish I had more...

This is an interesting series. Not sure how merchants were able to make change. 15, 35, 35, 45, 75, and 90 Kyats
I can only imagine the irritation and bewilderment. I love this entire odd grouping.

The Burma Chapter of the Banknote Book list "Security Printing Wazi" as printer.
I thought that might be the case.
Difficult note to get without staple holes or foxing and yes it was locally printed by Security Printing WAZI. Burma.
Thanks for that information. I wondered if it was the same group..
