Tesla Banknotes

Not just an electric car, or fancy truck. Tesla was a man genius whose inventions and thinking on electricity is still revolutionizing the world. He appears on a number of banknotes as well. In fact, collectors can use his notes from Yugoslavia to form a "poor man's color variety set." This is where a same design can appear in a variety of colors.

The Tesla banknotes are one of my favorites. As an electrical engineer and banknote collector, I would buy cheap notes to give to my engineer co-workers during engineers week. I still have a few that I hand out at coin shows and culture fairs at elementary schools.
