Dylan Custis your right
I've been on that boat before! I loved it. Word of advice: bring your own rod next time, use a 2 ounce buck tail with a gulp trailer and a teaser if you want and just fling it out and let it sink to the bottom and bottom bounce the buck tail back to the boat. I was the only one doing it on the boat and I was the only one to catch any limits of fish at all.
Even though they might be more expensive, I find private charters to be a lot more rewarding and fun. With party boats it's always a struggle with people crossing your line
That depends on the party boat. If you're talking about cattle boats, you'd be correct. But more and more, your typical day charter boats are more interested in the quality of the trip versus the quantity of passengers (at least in Southern California).
I went on a party boat one time about 35 years ago. We got into some large blue fish 34-36 inches. See you video reminded me of my experiencd. I enjoy your video style. I tried to imitate it in a recent video setting out trail camers. Great channel, keep em coming!
idea : We send you Lures,Hooks,etc.. (No reel or poles he takes his own of choice) And he uses the stuff to catch fish! Like if you agree aswell :)
i like the fishing rods with the button that you press and toss in the water its soooo easy....
AYE I WAS THE FIRST TO SEND FAN MAIL!!
Fair play mate, going to check out your channel real soon
SW Fishing I bet you are on your way to become the Master Baiter of offshore charter boats of 50 men on 3- 5 day fishing trips.
I feel like it's all about the location and when you go on one of these party boats. I take them a few times a year here in the northeast where we have haddock, pollock, cod, redfish, cusk, etc. And I went early in the season (April) and came home with 15 keepers (not including the other species or the too small ones). It was def rough seas where I almost threw up and less people cause it was cold. But I just went a few weeks ago and that was a terrible trip. So many tangles, only 2 keeper fish, but at least the ocean was like glass. I love doing them, but only early in the season.
It's quite a special thing watching you get better and better at editing every single video, and the content never lacks. Keep it up man!
Hey man, is always a hit or miss, just find the right boat. I always get a full cooler of porgy every time I go on this charterboat in NY. My arms are always sore before the end of the trip. There's so much fish, and so tiring that there is a point where I no longer want to fish! Always bring multiple sizes of sinkers because you don't want your line drifting and getting tangled. Find the right boat, and you'll always get your money's worth.
Props man. It's always good when someone doesn't trespass 👍😉
Hey! I went charter fishing in the Chesapeake Bay, and we got onto some Trophy Striped Bass and bluefish. My uncle works on the boat and its nowhere near as crowded as the one you went on. its more private. it was really fun but I didn't have a gopro at the time
At the pond hit closer to the shore. And ive been in a charter in florida, and it is way better... they focus on you catching fish and your line never gets tangled. You should try a charter for just you and kelsey.
The captain and crew on your boat are good friends and a great crew. Been out on almlst every boat out of Cape May
I went on one of those boats in the gulf off of Texas during snapper season I did pretty good, didn't catch a ton but pretty good for for a party/charter boat. I don't go often only my second time but I bring a 8 foot rod (because the provide 6 foot) and get in the back corner so my line doesn't get tangled as much.
If you have your own gear it's a lot more fun especially a reel with braid. And also a 2-3 ounce bucktail with a gulp trailer. I've caught more keepers on gulp than anything else
ive done like 3 or 4 charter boat trips over years. there great. i dont really remember getting tangled up so much with everyone while fishing. 50 bucks for the 2 of you is a steal... i live in tampa fl... but keep up the good vids. i like them alot
I don't know exactly how I found this video, but I'm about six minutes in and dude...you are the freakin master of gab.
Heck yea bro Awesome 👍👍👍👍💪💪nice flounders
I am not sure how the party boat scene works where you live but I live in SoCal and some of the boats run a limited load open party boat and in my opinion it is well worth the increase in cost. There are less people on the boat and most of the time the people on those boats are a little more experienced and that reduces the amount of tangles. Enjoyed the video, if you get the chance I would highly recommend making a trip to SoCal during the summer to fish for yellowtail and maybe even tuna.
I went on the same boat no one caught any skates and SO MANY PEOPLE GOT TANGLED I caught flounder and a lot of people caught keepers I love ur vids keep up the good work👏👏😁👌👍😂🐸
Great vid just stumbled across the channel like your older vids and this one to
Outdoor Adventures With Tanner sub to me please
Hi there. I Just want to say that you deserve more subscribers than you have. I enjoy your videos. Keep on doing what you are doing because you do it really well. Thanks.
Go up to long island NY and catch the Celtic quest out of port Jefferson. They are awesome and always find the fish.
This experience is totally different than California. 3/4 day in San Diego is about 120 without gear. Fishing is more contact as majority of the time, you are flylining live bait and it's about 30+ people flylining at the same time. Gotta try it....Definitely different on west coast
Wow amazing idea,a'm spotnya fishing from Indonesia suport for you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 mantap 😁😁👌
I went charter fishing a little while ago in Valdez, and my experiences were really good actually. It was a lot smaller, like maybe 6 people, and the captain was a lot more helpful and interactive. Caught rockfish, lingcod, and a really nice halibut. For me and my dad it was about 600$ but we caught about 1,000$ worth of fish.
Do you get to keep what you catch?
@@kllgrogto5838 yes and most will even fillet the fish for you as well
I took a charter and it was great, it wasn't packed at all and we caught tons of mackerel, three cod and a couple sculpin. the first mate filleted all the fish and this was in p.e.i would recommend, it was called Campbell's deep sea fishing.
The crickets fit the waiting scenes
I've been on 2 charter boat fishing trips and I catch at least 3 cod and and like 5 haddock, all of my experiences have been good.
Try H&M Landing that place is amazing it’s totally worth it but it’s not close to where you are it’s in San Diego California
go on the captain Stacy in North Carolina we went on it and called 24 lb of keepers snappers black sea bass triggerfish .go on it it's fun
Woohoo deep sea fishing
Ay man I live in Delaware to and if you launch a little 17/18ft boat at Lewis You can take it out just as far
i like your videos keep making them there the best videos on youtube
You should come to Florida and go deep sea fishing for grouper
Joe Troutman sub to me please
Luke Parsley10 go on dude your getting really annoying if you want subs just make good content
Brayden Waukau damn right I fucked my cousin twice last week
The Food Taste Tester ye
He will shit his pants, specially with black groupers.
We went out of Rock Hall, MD on a 6 man charter and limited out on Striper in about 15 min. Cost us $100/person and we all tipped the mate $25 each...Came home with about 10lbs of meat each.
I won’t say the name like u did but the charter u went on also has a “family” session at night it’s the same thing with like 15-30 ppl max on a weekday
It reminds me going on a charter boat to do deep sea fishing for rockfish at 200+ feet deep of water in Southern California.
I'll almost bet hell to high water that you were on the jamaica. Tried it 3x and I hate to say it, but that boat sucks! We even did a 16 hour trip where the captain rode around for probably 10 of those hours! Same thing every time! I keep trying them bit doesn't seem like a boat to put you on the fish. I also concur that jersey fishing has not been that great from any angle! I'm looking at some private charters for next spring/summer but if you want a good 4 hour flounder trip, cape may lady is excellent! You can also come to florida, Massachusetts, new york, Connecticut and north Carolina with us and REEL DEAL FISHING.
Good vid, you should come on out to Cali and go kayak fishing with me.
Come to brevard county florida and go out on Orlando Princess out of Port Canaveral. Ive been a few times, always bring home dinner. And if u do let me know I'll go lol.
In Cali you get massive ling cod and red rock fish!
Go to a charter in ny, caught a 20.5 inch fluke and lots of shorties, first time on a boat, boat caught 5 keepers out of 20 rods
Hey just an FYI the pond u were at only allows barbless hooks lol. Btw I also went on the same charter and I won the pot of money😂
Ive been on this charter, very good charter. I caught 15 bass and a 25lb snapper. Brilliant day!
You need to go on a Louisiana charter trip they are the best
I haven't been on a charter boat before but I would love to but don't have anyone to go with, I would love to go to Wilmington North Carolina charter boat
The pond is the dog park in middletown right? I live in middletown lol biggest from there is 4 1/2
Well compared to my first charter boat fishing, you did pretty good. Have you been on the Judy V yet? I got a few sea bass but that was it ( although it was during Memorial Day weekend and you could only see 15~ feet in front of you) it's pretty good charter boat, nice people running it. Definitely a good one to go on.
I’ve been fishing my whole life, I’m 32. This year I realized I’m done with the charter boat life style. I feel like the crews are overwhelmed with the price hikes and aren’t putting in the usual work to find the fish. Some are having a hard time finding experienced deck hands, which everyone know, deck hands lacking experience means failed gaff hooks, banging and broken rod tips, winnie mindsets.
Me and my brothers when on that Same charter boat when we were 7. No one caught anything on the boat. If you can take a private charter for half a day you should. They have much better knowledge of the bay and the best structure to fish on
There are lot of good charter boats out in Lewis Delaware you can get on some that will just take out you and not a lot of other people
I love your videos
loved it
i went on a smaller charter boat with my family last summer yes it was more expensive but i was worth the experience there was a lot less people and it was easier to catch more fish i highly recommend it
also i love you content please keep it up!
Try fishermans warf in lewes DE, now it is more expensive but the fish show for it
i always wonder if you let your bait sink down to the bottom when you fish in those small ponds
Please do a video of how to set up a brand new spinning rod cause I have bought a shakespeare rod that is brand new
one of the best ponds around here
your gonna get 1 mil real quick if u keep it up
Nice brother
i did a charter where i live in southern california and caught two big summer flounder, 3 rockfish, and 2 lizard fish.
Reliance charters you can fish for tuna and snapper
I was on that boat two years ago. I saw the snack bar was it the Judith M by chance out of Ocean city Md
Awesome
Lol northern deep sea fishing is pretty hit or miss...down here in the Gulf it is very uncommon to not catch a keeper on a charter/party boat
A 15 inch flounder in NC is a keeper
You should do largemouth bass catch and cook
Overboard fishing in ocean city Maryland. 6 people max and you will catch fish great captain and first mate
$2 that's it for the jackpot ! Out here in California we put in $20 each btw the rental combos on charter and party boats are terrible
was the jersey fishing done out of cape may?
Nice video , thumps up from me , what kinda rod do you use ??
Usually on a charter boat its more expensive and less people i have been on charters with 3 or 4 people plus the captin in louisiana but we payed 450 for 6 hours but we where also on keeper fish our whole time out. I've never heard of nor experinced a charter like the one you where on
we call them party boats. pretty popular in ny/nj.
i went to a fishing derby a few years back and i caught a sting ray and everyone thought it was a skate. my grandfather ended up going to the ER from the sting. it’s one of those good memories but bad ones at the same time if that makes sense.
Love your videos come to Oregon to catch some largemouth
Love ur vids
hey come down to oc and go on a 1000 dollar charter boat but you go for tuna and shark and its so much fun
Love your vids, keep it up
love your editing
Should've gone further south to Lewes, Indian River or Ocean City for headboat fishing.
Sometimes you are just paying money for a boat ride, but when I went we caught 3 whiting, 1 paddock, and a dogfish
Nexus 49 please sub to me
Luke Parsley10 I got you

Next time go on the same one, I went on that a couple of years ago and there was only a few familys
I went on that same exact boat and together with my friend we caught 4 keeper flounder and 3 keeper sea bass.
I went deep sea fishing with my friend and his dad. we went on a three quarter day trip out near san clamente island california and i threw up 7 times
He needs more subscribers
You should do a big lots fishing challenge
I fishing on a boat with my family and the guy that took us out in Tampa Bay. We caught sharks and many other kinds of fish.
Finally fishing with your bait caster nice!!! And that bass was maybe a 1 pounder bro not a 3
The size of flounder in florida is 12 inches .and he said that was 15 and he said it has to be like 18 does it have a change in each state
Nice I went on a charter out of the Indian River Inlet in DE earlier this month and caught a keeper flounder
Edit: Look up Judy V charters that's the one I caught my flounder on, it's a good charter for a decent price.
Yeah Wisconsin baby
Those types of charters suck, its much better to get a private charter and just bring a few friends or whatever. The captains on the smaller charters have always put us on fish and you don't have to worry about snagging lines all the time.
Was that levels pond in middletown?
