For teens, I would recommend the Swipe series by Evan Angler. It's a futuristic series based on Revelation. I've also been enjoying the Out of Time series by Nadine Brandes (I just finished the second book and it was even better than the first). In the adult category, I would recommend All That We Carried by Erin Bartels. It was a really good story about sisters with a strained relationship who are not sure about their faith.
I cannot express how much I value your Christian recommendations across all genres. I am looking for more great Christian literature, and I keep returning to your past videos for reference. Please know they are seen and appreciated!
Hello. My name is Amelia Rucker, and I am a Christian Romance Author and I have fifteen books underneath my belt. I am currently working in the writing lab at the moment.
Oh my. What a HUGE encouragement this was to me today! Thank you so much, Chantel! Also, you just earned mad respect from me when I noticed all the book tabs. You're a super reader.
I did a bookshelf tour earlier this year, you can find it here: ua-cam.com/video/H-PW2bFMBOM/v-deo.html The tour is of my bookshelves in my living room, my office where I film are my unread books.
I read The Nature of Small Birds and really enjoyed it. I have Stories That Bind Us on my reading shelf, I think it's the next book I should read!! I also have Jamie No Wright's books on my favorites list. The Vanishing at Castlle Moreau,, what can I ssy!! I have pre ordered her next two books!! Thanks for sharing your videos with us.💜🇱🇷
I enjoyed listening to your reviews. I also read Frank Peretti in high school. I always enjoyed This Present Darkness books. I added The Vanishing at Castle Moreau thanks to this video. Thank you.
Always love your recommendations. I also love Susie's books, they definitely are hard to describe but so worth the read. The Extraordinary Deaths of Mrs. Kipp is high on my TBR.
I have The Stories that Bind Us and The Lost Melody on my birthday gift shelf to read! I am picking something from that shelf as my next read after I finish up American Royals (book club pick).
I have only read the first book on the list, but I was very pleased to see your video, because I have 5 more of your recommendations out from the library right now! Looking forward to reading some on our Summer vacation!
I have only read the Story That Binds Us AND I loved it!!! I do have the Nature of Small Birds but haven't read it yet. I read A Rumorer Fortune by Politino and I also REALLY loved that and even asked the author for the book that she quotes at the beginning of each chapter and it was all her! She needs to write THAT book. I liked that we liked our character in Things We Didn't Say, but also she isn't exactly likeable...but she grows and it's beautiful
New to your channel! Thanks for your recommendations. Another I'd suggest is The Souls of Lost Lake Jaime Jo Wright. I started it Friday and am almost finished. Would have finished it already if I didn't have to work. Can't wait to see more of your recommendations!
Susie Finkbeiner’s books are definite highlights for my reading over the past year as well! Anytime you talk about Jaime Jo Weight books I think I’d like them, but also I can’t work up the nerve because of the creep factor. I don’t have time to stay up until 3am to finish a crazy page turner 😄
I really need to get to some of these! And I keep finding myself thinking, "Eh, I don't know if I'm all that interested in picking up The Extraordinary Deaths of Mrs. Kip," but then you and other people talk it up so much, so apparently I need to get to that one soon. 😆
Definitely on the top of the list for me is 'The Flame of Ram' by Israel Cooley. A great christian adventure story with a host of well done characters in a rich medieval setting.
I Love all the recommendations I so tired of all these books with explicit, sex and heart in these wild covers with people naked all over go to find good Christian infection but I can really enjoy. I’ve been on but happy with reading and now I know why I need this Christian fiction.
Things We Don't Say sounds good to me. I LOVED Sara Brunsvold's latest book, The Divine Proverb of Streusel. If you liked The Extraordinary Deaths of Mrs. Kip, you'd probably like Divine Proverb, too. Good video!
I think it's cool how similar we are on these! I haven't read all of them, but of course, that means I need to read more, right? Oh, and I think you'll understand Harper in Twice Sold Tales. She likes having the store but not the people, too. Christian fiction WAS pretty predictable for a long time. But it grew! The Nature of Small Birds: Own, but haven't read. Stories That Bind Us: TOTALLY loved. And I loved that a certain relationship didn't happen the predictable way. I hope that works. The Lost Melody: Just shared that today, too! I LOVED it--and how you really feel her fear even sitting at the piano in the asylum. CAN she play? Did you read A Midnight Dance? If not, you need to. You'll recognize some people. Set the Stars Alight: Haven't read yet, but I loved Whose Waves These Are. I don't usually like lyrical writing, but I DO love HERS. She's never heavy handed with it. It's always so natural for her. Things We Didn't Say: I love this one, too. The audio was amazing despite me thinking at first it was awful. It was'nt. Premonition at Withers Farm: Own not read. Vanishing at Castle Moreau: Own not read Illusion: I'd never heard of this one before you mentioned it. I do need to get it!!! Recorder: AAAK I need this so much. Tarnished Silver: Kelly. Named after Challice (and "she" is the character). You see her first in A Bird Died (the story of Stephen's electrocution) The Extraordinary Deaths of Mrs. Kip: Wasn't she amazing? I want to be her when I grow up.
I found your channel a year ago and was so excited. I was kind of like you where I lived in this bubble of "there are only a few Christian fiction authors." Because of your channel, I have broadened my favorite authors. I am familiar with Peretti and Chautona and know that they do incorporate faith elements into their works. However, are the other books you mentioned actually Christian fiction (have faith elements) or are they just published by Christian publishers?
Good question! They DO have faith elements, I personally wouldn't consider it Christian fiction otherwise. The only slight exception is Recorder, being Sci Fi it's a bit different but there are some beginnings of faith elements coming up near the end of the book.
I remember watching this video last year and thinking “I really need to read more Christian fiction!” Well that didn’t happen but this year I REALLY am going to read some of these!!
There are many, but one of my favorites this year was a sequel by Jerry B. Jenkims, called The Dead Sea Conspiracy. It is dual timeline with the timelines being one contemporary dealing with archeology in Saudi Arabia and the other Biblical retelling the story of Abram and Terah. It was fascinating. The first book in the series was also good, called Dead Sea Rising.
The Work and The Glory by John N Lund tops my list Actually any series he writes is amazing. The hardcover/paperback books contain the references to the facts about historical fiction.
The best historical fiction Christian series I ever read was The Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers. It’s intense, life changing, and a wonderful experience! I would recommend this book series to anyone. It’s a little zealous but it’s thoroughly entertaining and informing.
I enjoyed Things We Didn't Say and have read another of the author's books, but I have to say that there isn't much more than the publisher that is "Christian" for this author's books. I'd characterize them more in "clean fiction" than "Christian fiction".
The only other book from Amy Lynn Green that I've read is the Blackout Book Club, I would say there are no faith elements in that one but I highlighted some great faith quotes from Things We Didn't Say.
Let me know some of your favorite Christian fiction books!
For teens, I would recommend the Swipe series by Evan Angler. It's a futuristic series based on Revelation. Christine Dillon has a very good season of books. She is Australian so the English is Australian English but so so precious written
Actually, Dracula by Bram Stoker is good verses evil.

I just listened to the audiobook of Mark of the Raven. It's really good

Thank you for writing such beautiful books! I can't wait to get to The All-American!
Could you do a video slowly going over you book library? It would be fun to see what you have read already and thought should have a physical copy of.

First video I’ve seen of yours and we definitely have a LOT of favourites in common.

Yay, I hope you enjoy them all!
I read The Vanishing at Castle Moreau! Fun modern gothic! There are so many great recommendations in this video! Thank you!
I have learned to enjoy Chautona so much and the covers of her books are so adorable
Chautona would like to apologize for not seeing your comment on the unfinished video before it was too late. So sorry!
@@ChautonaHavig you did great! And whatever happened... I was able to finish it and I really enjoyed it.
I love Chautona's humor as well, one of the reasons I love her books so much!
@@ChantelReadsAllDay we agree on this all the way!!!!

Book Lover Amanda gifted me Mrs. Kipp- what a blessing! Great book❤.
I love these videos!! Most of these books/authors are on my shelf because of you! 😊
Definitely on the top of the list for me is 'The Flame of Ram' by Israel Cooley. A great christian adventure story with a host of well done characters in a rich medieval setting.
The actual series in Bookstrings by Chautona is even better. I LOVED book 1 and I’m so excited for book 2, which I won!
Love love Jamie Jo Wright. The Vanishing at Castle Moreau is my favorite of hers.
I love Jaime Jo Wright. I'm looking forward to her new book.

❤📚❤️ I just finished The Secret Book of Flora Lee by Patti Callahan Henry. It is historical fiction and a five star read.
recorder sounds fun
Currently buddy reading Mrs Kip & loving her.

Try Tessa Afshar!!
Mark of the Lion by Francine Rivers is amazing.
I’ve never heard of Recorder but the premise sounds a lot like the Murderbot Diaries!
There are some similarities! Though Recorder is an actual person instead of a robot so that adds an extra layer of complexity.
The accidental cases of Emily Abbot by Perry Elizabeth Kirkpatrick
Are all these books free from profanity???
I was thinking about buying “ the nature of small birds “
What did you say was your favorite Peretti book? I couldn’t quite catch it…. The witch???
The Oath!
Monster. If you have youngers, middle school reads are the Cooper Kids, YA reads are knightmare academy
