Hello. I love this little project. I'm not sure you'll check this since its from so long ago. You lost me when you talked about turning it inside out and continuing from there. Is that what you meant? Or do you just continue as you had the first three rounds and when the bag is completed turn it inside out? If you meant turn it inside out and then continue, the confusing thing is now my stitch marker is in front of me. Sorry if this seems simple but I hope you can clarify. Thank you
Hi Carrie, don’t worry, I’m here to help. Let me simplify it for you, please continue, just as what we did for first three rounds until round 15 and when you’ll finish round 15… turn your work inside out. Or just go with the flow and while working on the project, you’ll understand which side is correct. So, don’t worry. If you have any other query, you can ask me anytime. Till then Happy Crocheting. ❤️🧶❤️🧶❤️🧶
If you chain 18 in the beginning, and you skip the first three stitches, then should you end up with 18 - 3 = 15 double crochet for the first row, not 17?
What size is the finished product? I need a real small bag, but I need to really follow directions and don’t want to have to figure out how to make it smaller. Thanks!!
@@anutha-thecrochetworld thank you. I just watched your whole video and you are wonderful!!! You explain things so much easier to understand than other videos I’m trying to learn from. Do you have any suggestions on how I can make this bag about 5cm wide?? It’s easy to make it shorter, but I don’t know how to make it less wide and follow the pattern of skipping stitches etc.
Actually I think I’ll just practice with a different number of chains until I figure it out. It’s small enough to take apart. I’m excited to try. Thanks again
Hi Jodi, I’ll share my secret with you. Decide a particular number of stitches you want. Now minus that number by 2. And now divide that number by 2 - and that will be your chains. So if you want 30 stitches total. Minus 2 = 28. Now divide 28 by 2= 14. So your chains will be 14.
Thank you so much!! I love when people do the stitching on camera and not on my own!!
Aww thanks

Hi, please check the video clearly from 1:08 to 2:37. You will find your answer.
First 3 chains= 1DC, and 2 more DCs into 4th chain. So, 1+2+14=17.
What size is the finished product? I need a real small bag, but I need to really follow directions and don’t want to have to figure out how to make it smaller. Thanks!!
Hi. This little pouch is approximately 11cm long and 8cm wide. I hope this will work. Happy Crocheting. ❤️🧶❤️🧶❤️🧶

And this measures are for SC stitches. So if you want to go for dc add 2 more chains in your total number of chains.
