So glad I saw this video 10 minutes before putting down my first sheet of tile!!!
A number of issues, horizontal surface where most would be vertical, Zero explanation as to why you flattened the adhesive although I'm in line with the roller buttering. I have found many tricks. I don't like all of yours but I do like the buttering idea, through a number of video now I have a comprehensive list of the best of the best. One to add to the list is if the tile comes in plastic cut it with your wet-saw while it's still encapsulated in the plastic. A game changer. I gave you a thumbs up for the buttering idea, not into the flattening idea presented. Properly pressed the "grooves" will flatten.
On glass the thinset needs to be flattened to avoid voids under glass.
You will get much better results with flat bed vs notches .

Do it on a wall
Because this is a brick look tile with staggered joints, the 1/2 sheet should have been off-set, not directly under the top sheet as shown in this video. This helps alleviate the "zipper" affect after grouting and a better overall appearance of the installation. Paul E. Fox President of Glass Tile & Stone, Inc.

Hello, I just bought Metropolis serie tile, and I need to know if I can use Polymer modified thin-set mortar? The mortar manufacture instructions say to be sure, if this type of mortar can be used with the tile mesh? Thanks
What size trowel are you using?
What is the "try out" table in which you place the thin set? I want to install sample glass tile.
The board in the video that we used to add thinset to the roller is a spare piece of sintra board, a water resistant board with a little more texture to it than plastic.
When you cut a tile the paper gets wet and a bunch of tiles fall off. Not ideal I might as well be setting them individually
I'm a complete novice and wish you defined certain terms. I have no idea what you mean by notches and keys and thin set. :/
The trowel has notches on one end and one side and the opposite side and end from the nothed side and end are straight

Easiest method I found was to score a single time, hold the tile over a padded piece of wood about the thickness of a pencil, and just press on both sides and it snaps. Skinny pieces I put a piece of padded wood over the raised bridge and whacked the wood with a hammer. Worked most of the time

Laying tile on a table is provably not not the best way to demonstrate.

Once the tile is dry you can damp a sponge and wet the paper film until the paper gets gark its ready to be removed easily.
I meant “dark” not gark sorry.
Why flatten?
no spacer needed?
No spacers are needed on sheets; only on field size tiles.
I had to use spacers because my wall was small and because of the size I split the sheets vertically to get a perfect fit...hope it works out. Note: I was installing my tiles vertically, not horizontal
Anyway could be more clear this , if they show us, how get installed on the wall , step by step, horizontal and vertical.
This is one of the worst tiles I have ever had to work with. I’m stuck on this job but going forward I will boycott this brand any any similar. Nobody that takes pride in their work should use this garbage.
Can High end Lunada Bay handmade paper face glass tile be used on a very small bathroom floor?
