I found out about your show sometime at the end of the group stages and it was always a highlight to watch it after a Bok game. Especially for someone who’s relatively new to the sport and from a non-Rugby nation (Germany). I have to say, I’ve learned a lot! Kudos to both of you! I’ll definitely stay around for the next episodes! En die dag sal kom waar ek ook ‘n Springbok match in die Stadium sal sien.

Keo and Zels, I just want to say thank you for the great content and sporting analysis you have provided throughout the WC. I would download the episodes on my UA-cam app and play them when I’m en rout. Your analysis and input has always been spot on and greatly entertaining (except when Keo said the AB’s would lose to Ireland in the knockout). But this is really a great platform to share analytically impartial information between teams in games. It felt like the Boks had to climb the Mt Everest of rugby in playing again the World’s top 5 teams, and that’s what makes this WC special for me. It is UNDISPUTED that the best team won the tournament as we did the harder route to back the 2019 WC. Director of Rugga Rassie and coach Jacque deserve all the credit they can get considering that state of Springbok rugby in 2017. They managed to maintain the core of the Boks from the 2019 WC squad. Experience counted a lot in the knockouts. Bringing back Pollard was a masterstroke, and having great depth on the 2023 squad ensured that we had a fresh pack for that crunch match against France in the quarters. The stories of the players in this squad is Box office stuff, I mean Siya’s story, Jesse’s, Cheslyn, Handre, RG, and Jean Kleyn, Mannie Libbok, I mean the list is endless. For me this was by far the best WC tournament, and dare I say the Boks player background, having to overcome adversity, win when it doesn’t seem popular, that’s part of the nucleus that gave this team the never say die attitude they have, that South Africa should embrace as a whole. Cheers 👋
Hi guys it's Arnold from Pretoria, I was do Right I my prediction for Springboks to win the world rugby cup 🇿🇦 winning by 1point in the quarter, semi and final means the springboks had a Point to prove to the world, we are champions " the good, bad and the mean" thanks, from Pretoria with love 👌👍

You two guys! I will always remember the 2023 RWC for obvious reasons, but also because of this specific podcast! You guys are entertaining and passionate and always behind the boks! Listened to these shows in traffic during the world cup and it just added to the goosebumps! Freakin so much proud to be a Springbok. I had some bok-koors yesterday so today is my first normal day back at work as a back-to-back world champ! May we go for a third!! Thanks Keo & Zels! You guys where pillars for us couch coaches! Well done south africa as a abs supporter the only other team i would want to win is you guys. Altho im gutterd we didnt win yourr team is pure class. May the rivalry ccontinue. Both teams will have a few players exiting lets keep showing the north who rules rugby!!
Keo, Zels, well boys what can I say. I'm finally home, but I wish it would have gone on forever and that I could have stayed for more, if only there was more. Good news I still have keys to the house. Even better news a team in green I followed for 52 days won another RWC. I left for Paris on Sept 6th and traveled France up and down to see our boys in green and the best all the other teams had to offer. What a privilege to be there in person and see them all (the 20 teams) play. After 21 live pool games and 6 of the 8 live knock out games which included 7 by SA and NZ, 5 by the hosts France and Argentina, 4 by Uruguay, 3 by England, Namibia, Samoa and Italy, 2 by Chile, Ireland and Wales and then 1 by Scotland, Romania, Australia, Japan, Tonga, Georgia, Fiji and Portugal to round out the chance to see every team play at the tournament including getting to every host city and stadium. I can't even begin to tell you how good it was to be in France for the whole tournament. I started in Paris, Saint-Denis on the 8th hit Marseille on the 9th and 10th up to Lille for the 14th, Toulouse on the 15th, then Bordeaux on the 16th and 17th, Nice on the 20th .... I'm sure by now you can see the pattern. Yip this crazy Zimbo who grew up in SA, played High School and Club Rugby there for 20 years drove 12,263 km up and down France watching WC rugby. Best of the games/contests I saw live France v NZ, SA v Ireland, Uruguay v Namibia, Japan v Samoa, Fiji v Portugal, Ireland v NZ, France v SA, England v SA, NZ v SA. During my travels I had guys like yourselves, the eggcatcher, two cents rugby all running various podcasts for me to enjoy along the way, keep me laughing and awake, none more so than yourselves. As it was a busy trip with long daily drives to get to each game day match I was unable to participate, but I thoroughly enjoyed the shows. Think I got to see most of them so thank you for the entertainment and your contribution to my trip. The French around the whole country were great hosts, amazing people and even better fans. Thank you to all of them for having me. I've been trying to complete a perfect RWC (a live pool game every day a game is played starting with all 4 SA games, watch all the teams in the tournament play a minimum of one game live and get to watch a live game in every host city/stadium and in addition, a knockout game live everyday a knockout game is played) since 2007. I finally got it done. I still can't believe I got to do this and our boys went all the way with me and blessed all of us with another cup to sweeten the deal. Talk about having your cake and getting to eat it. Cherries on top. Amazing. Go BOKKE Go. You beauties. Can't wait to start planning for 2027 Australia RWC.
Rassie and Jac achieved something with the current Springbok players - ALL of them- that was never achieved before. I just hope that our coaches at the franchises learnt from them and implement some if not all of what they did to get the current Springbok team to reach the pinnacle of what rugby is all about - the Webb Ellis Cup. Rassie and Jac thank you for what you did for the team, for the country.
AB fan here, congrats Bokke on the win. Love your guys channel. Can't wait for the next 4 years! And you are right, refs calls very much even themselves out over time maybe next time it will be us😅
The balls on Cyril, the way he snatched that trophy... And the tweet after... "Politicians are slime" not truer words were said. Yikes... The more you think you loathe that Cyril, he helps you find a "deeper level of loathe" for him. Boks are so proud of you, men! Amazing! 🇿🇦🏉♥️♥️♥️♥️
@@laraconnock9525 indeed. And with each interview and word they say, you realize how it means to them to represent us as that multicultural nation, that's trying to work through various challenges to show that a people, even on a back foot when they work together can achieve the most incredible things.
Thanks guys, enjoyed the RWC journey. Loved the positive vibes from you, it's all doom and gloom in England and its easy to get caught up in it. Looking forward to more URC content!
Keo and Zels, it has been a pleasure watching your show. I was born in Zimbabwe and currently live in the United States and I'm a HUGE All Blacks fan (Jonah Lomu is guilty of making me fall in love with Kapa O Pango). The Boks (by virtue of my African-ness) are my second favorite team. I honestly believe that in this grand final, no team lost. Yes, the Bokke took home the trophy and are rightly 4-time World Champions but for my ABs to play like that with a man down for that long and keep it that close made me love them even more. I have never enjoyed an All Blacks loss the way I enjoyed this one. I wasn't even disappointed after the game. After the red card to Sam Cane, I thought the Boks were going to massacre us to be honest (we all saw that Twickenham shellacking, Lord have mercy). Thank God that didn't happen. After that game the depth of my pride in the ABs was unquantifiable. What they did in this final for me beats any of their World Cup victories in 2011 and 2015 simply because of the adversity they had to deal with this time around against the World Champion and Number 1 ranked Boks. To come within a whisker of dethroning that Boks juggernaut with a man less for perhaps 60% of the game was a sight to behold. In my eyes, the All Blacks also won. We lost the game with honor! I know for some people it's all about winning and bragging rights etc (testament to the toxic culture among fans). For me, how you play the game is also as important as winning. I would rather lose with honor than win shamefully. Both these teams showed us why they are the two best teams in rugby. So congrats Bokke. Up the ABs!
@@greghillyard I agree, consistency, depth and defence will be key. It all depends now on the new upcoming Springboks and the easy exit by some of the Older Springboks with the 2X WC Experience. Some of them will have it in them for a 3rd world cup (as some of them are 29 or 30 or 31 or 32. So maybe one last one for the road maybe :)
Proud Springbok! Highly underrated by non SA rugby. As Eng player-commentator said: if NZ had kicked their goal to lead, the Springbok would have adjusted their game to take the lead back and win 🏉🏆
Book idea: write a chapter on each player in the squad and their backstory - similar to what you did last week to some of the boys. Would read that book a million times over

Hi Keo and Zels, my RWC mates. I usually watch your videos as soon as they are released but I decided to let the euphoria subside before I watched this one. Thanks for the great content throughout the tournament.
Massive thank you gents 👍 Your commentary & perspectives during this world cup was exceptional & entertaining. It's been a pleasure to watch. All the best 🏉
Got to say that we overcame a few obstacles, and this is typical of the Bok way...Malcolm Marx's injury, the kicking for goal issue, the tough draw, the hostile crowd in the final, the Bongi saga, victory by 1 point in 3 consecutive key matches...indeed, this is the stuff of true champions, and the boys, every single one of them deserve to be called a champion.
They should seriously do a Southern hemisphere team that tours the northern teams, similar to British and Irish lions tour. Or have a NH VS SH team and play three games. All star teams vs each other.
Jip, it will be pure dominance from SH. Pieter steph and ardie savea will dominate them, kolbe and will jordan. It will definitely not be a even matchup
As an Irishman. Congratulations to the Boks. What a brilliant team. I thought the winning of the tournament was Colby,s charge down of Ramos...unbelievable! Always great to see World Cup winners in the Munster team 👏
Two of the most unbelievable performances by teams. The Boks retaining the RWC and Munster winning the URC by having to play 5 away games in a row. Amazing the path that these two great teams had to overcome!
What a game between the 2 World rugby power houses. We couldn't have asked for a better Finale and so many life lessons from that 1 match. We are the Champions, again! The boys did us proud. Go BOKKE!!!

The Springboks of the new dispensation represent what those who fought against the injustices of apartheid hoped for: a functioning new South Africa where everyone is involved in taking us forward while stronger together. Watching the politicians climbing on the bandwagon last week and the angry reaction from all of us gives me hope that we can do something about how they are ruining the Satafrikan Dream.

What an incredible performance by the boks, show pure resilience and determination to win. Super proud of the boys 🏆🏆🏆🏆
you guys have grown, just like Siya and our team , well done for being so positive , i am now a fan
Springboks, at the world cup finals , its Played 4 won 4
*Attack or defences Wins World Cups*
France could not defend their 6 point lead
England could not defend their 9 point lead
Springboks defend their 6 point lead for 42 minutes
reminds me of a quote from Sir Alex
"Attack wins you games, defence wins you titles"
Never seen this that way, spot on 🙌
well said, congrats from the kiwi's
thats really good hey
Zelim, you can't complain about consistency, when we win 3 games in a row with exactly the same margin😂😂😂
You guys made the World Cup for me. Only show of its kind that talked real rugby. Thank you and look forward to more with the urc😅
As a Kiwi I’m gutted we lost but completely agree with your perspective about the TMO.
This is something the people up North don’t seem to understand KEEP IT ON THE FIELD.
Congratulations to my South African rugby fans see youse next year 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
You two guys! Amazing show!
You guys forgot Kwagga's steal at 12:20... Very clean turnover and it was honestly just beautifull to watch as a forward 🤣
What a show so spot on boys. So honest and no bad mouthing … Knowledgable and historic video… You get the best media pod cast award from World Rugby
Well done south africa as a abs supporter the only other team i would want to win is you guys. Altho im gutterd we didnt win yourr team is pure class. May the rivalry ccontinue. Both teams will have a few players exiting lets keep showing the north who rules rugby!!
Shout out to Kurt Lee Arendse halftime try saving tackle on the fastest All Black, Reiko Ioane.
Thank you Keo and Zels for your fantastic reporting on the 2023 RWC games. I absolutely enjoyed the ride!
And you are right, refs calls very much even themselves out over time maybe next time it will be us😅
Trevor's dancing. It was the best. I loved it.
The balls on Cyril, the way he snatched that trophy... And the tweet after... "Politicians are slime" not truer words were said. Yikes... The more you think you loathe that Cyril, he helps you find a "deeper level of loathe" for him.
Boks are so proud of you, men! Amazing! 🇿🇦🏉♥️♥️♥️♥️
Well said Sir... politicising everything... that stage was for WINNERS ( multiracial, equal) not for failed losers !
@@laraconnock9525 indeed. And with each interview and word they say, you realize how it means to them to represent us as that multicultural nation, that's trying to work through various challenges to show that a people, even on a back foot when they work together can achieve the most incredible things.
This show's been the best thing about the World Cup after the rugby. Intelligent and insightful commentary, great jokes. I'll miss it.
No matter which players retire - if Eben and Handre are still there in 2027 - they are enough to build a winning team around.
And Siya
I dedicate this World Cup to Matt Williams 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 100%, that oak is a proper doos
I watch the 31 of the 32 episodes great the game knowledge quality show much appreciated keeping up guys proud south African
Up the ABs!
Well said
@@Silenttarget Thank you 🙏🏽
Lets not forget, Now the door is open for 3 in a row which would also include 5th WC :) (smiles wide) Rassie got one more in him 😆
if we can do consistency now for the next 3 years then yesssss :)
I was worried about watching this but I can gladly say you guys were on the mark.
Cyril 'Slime' Ramaphosa.. gotta a real ring to it! Siya for President!!
Couldn't agree more. Out with Cyril & in with Siya!
Proud Springbok! Highly underrated by non SA rugby. As Eng player-commentator said: if NZ had kicked their goal to lead, the Springbok would have adjusted their game to take the lead back and win 🏉🏆
I need a PSDT 28 tackle showreel in my life
Book idea: write a chapter on each player in the squad and their backstory - similar to what you did last week to some of the boys. Would read that book a million times over
Absolutely awesome bokke, we love you guys, let them talk, we won it, its beautiful, thank you our African dream
BRILLIANT YOU GUYS. YOUR KANTRIBUTION TO BRINGING THE CUP BACK WAS MASSIVE!
Great show guys! I was one of the peeps who said this show wasnt great but I take it back, good vibes and good banter and best of all is quality rugby chat. Dig it
Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! ...thank you Springboks for giving South Africa hope 🙏🇿🇦🏆
Hi Keo and Zels, my RWC mates. I usually watch your videos as soon as they are released but I decided to let the euphoria subside before I watched this one. Thanks for the great content throughout the tournament.
Thanks Guys - Amazing stuff this world cup. Kwagga Smith = Swiss army knife... What a legend!
You guys have been superb throughout RWC, simply the best! Thanks from Dubai 🏆🏆🏆🏆 🇿🇦
Massive thank you gents 👍
Your commentary & perspectives during this world cup was exceptional & entertaining.
It's been a pleasure to watch.
All the best 🏉
Kurt-arense tackel on our line was a big tackel
Thx Keo and Zels, top insights and fun at the same time....really enjoyed the banter and ges you guys presented.
Keo & Zels, you are legends in your own right. Great show reflecting the great team we have, the great country we live in.
Thank you,you two kept me calm when I was losing it...learnt a lot,I appreciate, stay as cool as you are and BOKKE ❤❤❤❤❤❤
It will definitely not be a even matchup
i'm trying to think if any aus or arg players would make the 23...
@@lm_b5080 maybe quade cooper or kurtley beale. If they still play
They did in 2005. South won 54-19. And that was the end of it...
@@lm_b5080maybe one or two from Argentina
Best podcast ever !!! Please more and more
Bloody hell, been waiting all day for this!
THANK YOU KINDLY
SINCERELY APPRECIATED‼️👊🥂🍻
Going to miss these vids! Thank you guys for making this RWC even more special 😊
What a game between the 2 World rugby power houses. We couldn't have asked for a better Finale and so many life lessons from that 1 match.
We are the Champions, again! The boys did us proud.
Go BOKKE!!!
Been waiting for this video since we won 😂😂😂 Bboookkkeeeeeeee Blood on the floor Four more 🔥
Me too
This team is Springbok! They are heroic and makes us proud even if they win by one point only.
Thanks for entertaining us, gents!
Keo and Zels, i think you have found your niche. You two clowns have really grown on us like that fungus under my toenail, you have become one of us. Thanks for not taking yourelves too seriously. Love your content ❤🇿🇦😂
Thank you guys for all the great coverage and content over the past couple months. Been watching since the first episode and each and every week is the best podcast on the internet
Wonderful podcast. Don’t stop. The analysis and stories are incredible. It’s amazing how much rugby history you okes remember.
What a game, the Bokke did SA proud. I think Zel talking about the little bit of history that gave SA the edge was spot on. Now I think this New Zealand team has the history. Can't wait to see how the Springboks develop over the next 4 years and to see what this All Blacks team matures into.
You guys have been great. Enjoyed your banter and insights. Wasn't Keo's biggest fan before, but you're growing mate!
Appreciate the top quality analysis and insights from Keo & Zels and the rest of the team at SA Rugbymag. Now to celebrate the phenomenal achievements of the greatest rugby nation to have ever played the game!!!
Thank you for a great World Cup show…..what a journey.
Thank you guys! You made the world cup so enjoyable 😊
This show added a lot of flavor to my experience of the WC. Thank you.
Thanks Keo and Zels, you’ve kept us entertained! Loved every episode….👊🏻🇿🇦
Great unbiased comments guys. Absolutely gutted we lost but your boys were outstanding.
great show boys. i can see it going a long long way.
Thanks chaps, really enjoyed your shows over the RWC (glad Zels noted the GOAT Novak was at the final and donned a Bok top)
Thank you Gentlemen it's been fantastic listening to your insights throughout the World Cup 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
PSDT must be the best #7 in rugby history 2 man of match finals performances in winning teams, this year against the best teams ever.
Hi Keo & Zels, the last 8-9 weeks of reviews and videos has been the highlight of the world cup. Thanks so much, as a South African living in Australia you made me get goosebumps every time i watched. Thanks again and great job.
Always a proud to be South African and Springbok supporter! Incredible culture in the team all legends. I think we have all lived each game with them. Exhausted :) Thanks for the awesome show! Keep it up 🙌
The Springboks of the new dispensation represent what those who fought against the injustices of apartheid hoped for: a functioning new South Africa where everyone is involved in taking us forward while stronger together. Watching the politicians climbing on the bandwagon last week and the angry reaction from all of us gives me hope that we can do something about how they are ruining the Satafrikan Dream.
Dude. Please tell me what you are smoking. It's clearly working for you. Go sell crazy to someone else. No sportsteam ever helped a nation. What does it help to have hope if you can't feed your family.
Thanks guys for the great content over the WC you guys have been spot on!!From a saffa from the UK!1💚💪🏽👊🏾👍🏾🏆🏆🏆🏆🙌
You guys need to get Matt Williams on your show and ask him what's his problem
Matt is a dinosaur who is a waste of space
@@colincorn8678 agree. Congrats Boks, absolutely gutted for my ABs, they were superhuman after the red card, but I'm happy the Boks won it rather than anyone else. You guys played the hardest 3 games leading to this, so fair play.
Matt used to attack the ABs during the Mccaw era, now he's on you lot. He's a joke and a nobody, congrats Boks.
Similar to Clive Woodward, a man out of touch... desperate to remain relevant
Na we don't have the hours to waste for that
Top show. Loved seeing it through the World Cup. Please keep it going for the URC.
Gentlemen, what can I say: I continue to love your program.
Your love for the game, your enthusiasm, passion for the game, man just EVERY each way you show your love for the game, I love that.
Mark, you are a walking library as far as stats are concerned, I love that.
There is so much more I want to say, this platform unfortunately does not allow me to say what I like to say.
But continue with your program...
A rugby World Cup hat trick is
the holy Grail of every rugby fan
No one can argue with this! Cheers!
