Excellent work! "Groucho and Me" was one of the first books that I read about The Marx brothers. It is a good read even if Groucho is sometimes rather vague.
It sounds like Frank's trajectory was similar to my brother's, who's also 60 and grew up in SoCal. I think Why a Duck? was his first book; Groucho and Me was given to him as a present when he was maybe 12 or 13. (He had the paperback with the stylized image of Groucho.) I trailed along behind and read everything he got -- and then borrowed everything I could get my hands on from our local library.

Excellent episode!!!!! Do this again with frank and yourselves going over the other groucho written books. 🥸
It's funny how the "Groucho and Me" episode came much after the "Skidoo" episode
