maybe, "you deserve each other" for how to lose a guy in ten days? The characters in the film do ridiculous things as a way to deter the other from continuing to be in a relationship and its kind of the same idea in the book where they play pranks on each other and have this love-hate relationship dynamic for a large part of the book.
if you love how to lose a guy in ten days READ THE SEX, LOVE, & STILETTO SERIES (more so the first book) they both make a bet, the girl-who’s a columnist for stiletto magazine-has to write a piece on taking a relationship to the next level so she seeks out someone she could use and fake date but HE doesn’t know it. and HE seeks her out bc his friend made a bet with him that he couldn’t have a fling with someone (bc he’s always a long term kinda guy) ITS LITERALLY HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN TEN DAYS IN A BOOK AND IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A BOOK LIKE THIS FOR FOREVER read it it’s soooo good
Love both of these!!! Although I kind of prefer Spinning Out a little bit more. Just because "From Lukov with Love" sometimes felt a little inconsistent. Like there scenes missing developing their relationship. Am I in the minority here?
idk if you’ve heard of nancy myers but i LOVE her movies so much, some of them : “the intern”, “it’s complicated”, “something’s gotta give”, “the holiday” and “home again”, all have a similar vibe and they’re so comforting, so if you feel like binge watching i really recommend
A Walk to Remember, (the book AND movie) literally changed my life. One of the first books that made me feel such strong emotions!! Been my favorite book since 8th grade, which was almost 10 years ago, LOL. I was so happy to see you include it in this video :)
after the kiss by lauren layne it's literally how to lose a guy in 10 days they are so similar, I totally recommend, the whole sex love and stiletto and also the spin off series oxford, it's so good!! It gives me the vibes of 00s rom com movies for sure!!
Love Rosie is also my favorite movie of all time and a book that remind me SO MUCH of it is “People we meet on Vacation” by Emily Henry. The feeling is really familiar and I just loved it ❤️
if you get the chance, can you try to find a book that relates to 'Hannah Montana The Movie'. It is like one of my favorite childhood movies of all time. If you could also find books with like a trope of a country boy who's like super down-to-earth, and then like a city girl who both fall in love. this is pretty much the trope in the hannah Montana movie.
THE SCREAM I ALMOST LET OUT!!! I’ve binged watched all your videos over the past 3 days ilysm, this notification brought me a whole other level of happiness💗
I’ve been here since 50 000 subs. I’ve had so much fun watching you grow and find yourself these 2 years. I know you probably won’t see this but I wanna thank u for letting me grow up and find myself with you. Love you and I’m so proud of you. ❤️ (sorry for the probably really bad english it’s my third fucking language)
Okay but romantic movies were better in 80's 90's. Here are some recommendations: The way we were, You've got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, For the Love of Game, Message in the Bottle, Tin Cup (he is trying so hard to get her while she dates someone else), Jerry Maguire and so on. 50's are also cool! What a way to go and Long hot summer.
All of these films apart from the Wedding Planner, Friends with Benefits and 13 going on 30 are based on books. Majority of them being by Nicholas Sparks. Safe Haven, The Vow, A Walk To Remember, The Best of Me, The Last Song, all Nicholas Sparks lol
"Melt for you" by J.T. Geissinger (second book in series but that doesnt matter). Here's the plot (so gooood) {Socially awkward Joellen Bixby has a date every Saturday-with her cat, a pint of ice cream, and fantasies of the way-too-handsome Michael Maddox. She’d give anything to win over the unattainable CEO of her firm, but how can she when she blends in so well with her cubicle? The answer may be closer than she thinks. Cameron McGregor is a cocky, tattooed Scottish rugby captain who just moved in next door. He’s not Jo’s type-at all-but the notorious playboy is offering to teach the wallflower everything he knows about inspiring desire. Though a lot of women have rumpled Cam’s kilt, Jo is special. Far from the ugly duckling she thinks she is, in Cam’s eyes she’s sharp, funny, and effortlessly sexy. Now, thanks to him, Jo is blooming with confidence and has the man of her dreams within reach. Unfortunately for Cam, he’s just helped to push the woman of his dreams into the arms of another man-and now he’s in the fight of his life to keep this beauty from getting away.}
I’m sorry WHAT?!?! Girl I’m begging you, please read Love, Rosie! It’s one of my fav books of all time, there’s so many things that were left out from the book bc of timing that make it SO MUCH BETTER The movie is great but I swear when you read it you’re gonna like it even more when you think about everything that happens! Please please read it!
A walk to remember is one of my favorite romance movies! I bought Full Tilt/All In after seeing them in your “romance books that made me cry” video, now I can’t wait to read them!
"Collided" by Lauren Asher and "Friends with benefits" Kinda have a similar vibe I'd say. but either way both of them are AMAZING. I love friends with benefits and I LOVED Collided, it's actually the second book in a series of F1 romances. highly recommend
Love, Rosie reminded me so much of People we meet on vacation by Emily Henry. The missing each other, the angst, the long time friendship is so so similar.
How to lose a guy in 10 days is easily my favorite movie and I was so happy with the book rec. i have it on my tbr and you jsut convinced me to put it next
Literally HOW TO LOOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS is “THE LAST KISS” by Lauren Layne such similar vibe and plot, actually the plot is almost identical cause they both make a bet and it’s part of “sex, love and stiletto” series which is so good, highly recommend.
I’m so glad you added 13 going on 30!! It’s my all time fav!! And I’ve been on the fence about reading Love and Other Words so I guess is the perfect sign😅
If you want a recommendation about ENEMIES WITH BENEFITS like literally! You have to read Twisted Hate by Anna Hwang, it is a part of a series, but you can read it as a stand-alone. it is 5 stars for me and I really believe you'll gonna love it, it has so many amazing tropes so I really recommend this book, I'm shocked you haven't read it yet. luv u
If you liked When Harry Met Sally... you'll love People we meet on vacation by Emily Henry When I was reading the book, it reminded me of Harry and Sally so much and their journey And what's more the author herself said, well wrote, that the book also had a token of WHMS in it
Loved this video sm! Can't wait to read Things we never got over! Also, steph girl show us your new books!!! Already dying over here for this new book haul

13 Going on 30 was a movie that I watched soo many times when I was younger, the cast is great and the songs are so good! I’ve recently read Love and Other Words-love that she thought of this book with this movie. 🥰
After the Kiss, the first book in Stiletto series by Lauren Layne for me gives off the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days vibe. Rom-com, easy to read and entertaining.
okay i am literally in love with the summer of broken rules so i’m definitely watching endless love now cos it was in my watchlist and now i HAVE to watch it
One book similar to No Strings Attached is Josh and Hazel’s Guid to Not Dating by Christina Lauren!! They’re best friends and try to hook each other up with other dates while trying to avoid their feelings for one another
Similar to “Friends with Benefits” and “No strings attached” is TWISTED HATE!!!!!! It’s enemies to friends with benefits to lovers….. such a good book!! defo read!! it’s the third book in the Twisted series, they’re all 10/10s❤️❤️
Steph! You and I are really similar in the way that we both LOVE romance stories. Honestly, I know this is a little random, but I feel like you would love k-dramas. I feel like their romance is always SO good; the slowburns, the tension, the comedy. I feel like you would LOVE the k-drama "Hometown Cha Cha Cha". I really enjoyed that drama.
OMG!!! Ok Steph!!! I have the perfect book for “Love Rosie”. I actually just finished it and it’s called “Kiss to Belong” it’s part of a series by Maria Luis. I super recommend, I loved these books.

"From Lukov with Love" also had the same plot (kinda) with "Spinning Out" from netflix i guess!!
Love both of these!!! Although I kind of prefer Spinning Out a little bit more. Just because "From Lukov with Love" sometimes felt a little inconsistent. Like there scenes missing developing their relationship. Am I in the minority here?
