silhouette, got it 2-3 years ago after doing extensive research after watching a bunch of your videos - as always, appreciate you and all the gems you share; salute!
i’ve never used the cameo and the reason i bought the cricut maker is because that’s the cutter i heard of first…listen, that cricut gets the job done and i use inkscape, affinity and even silhouette business addition to make sure my designs turn out top notch……i’m enjoying the series..appreciate you sharing knowledge..peace
Dude, I’m grateful I found your videos. I’ve been in a creative rut with my clothing brand lately and I truly appreciate all the information you’re sharing. Definitely helped me understand what my next steps should be. Keep spreading the knowledge. Already favorited a few videos to come back to. Thanks again!
I just wanna say man I've been working on starting a printing business for over a yr now so I watch alot of videos mainly you and ninja tshirt dude and I just appreciate yalls input and motivation cause it's extremely easy to lose motivation when aint nothing happening..Anyhow I appreciate ya big dawg keep your chin high my dude..
So glad I watched this video. I'm always thinking I need more, bigger, better etc and started looking at different cutters. I use the cameo 4 and I see youtubers using larger cutters so here i go looking around thinking I needed it too. But the price tag on them, yikes! I do t shirts and also a lot of wood signs so I use it for htv and stencil making. After watching this I realized I don't need more. It's not that big of a deal to break down a stencil design if I need to. I need to reel it in and realize I already have what I need. Thank you!! I AM SO THANKFUL FOR YOUR VIDS! I've watched them all and appreciate your work and sharing your knowledge.
I have 2 54" plotters and use 30" or less of that 95% of the time. After crunching the numbers 30" rolls offer the best bang for the buck per roll but I still often use a 15" roll for convenience.
I bought a Cricut Maker when I started doing masks last year( wanted quicker way to cut fabrics and templates). It surpasses they expectations in had for small media. But once I got into customs shirts it became harder if you had to cut bigger than standard. All in all I still love it . Just not their vinyl lol. I know others who use Silhouette and I started designing in their program as it was a bit more user friendly than Cricut. UA-cam videos do help a lot for beginners. Loving this series man💜💜💜
I have a cricut air 2 and a cameo 4 pro. I mostly use the cricut because of ease of use. The cameo 4 pro (24 in) I use when I need to make my own gang sheets, etc. But the cricut is a work horse.
Still rocking the original I got for $20 5 years ago. Just made a 7ft seating chart and 3 wedding signs with it. Once day I'll move up to the newer model lol
I currently use a cricut explore air 2, but am going to get the cameo 4 plus. Only because it can cut longer rolls without having to buy "smart" vinyl. I LOVE my cricut, but am limited in length of vinyl. Also, silhouette studio allows more options and design control.
I use a Cricut explore air 2. I got it because I wanted to use it with my iPad. I got used to taking my iPad everywhere and didn’t wanna change it up and bring my laptop. I was debating on the silhouette but decided on the Cricut because of the iPad. Also the price was good as well.
My silhouette cameo 2 was my first piece of equipment. Had it for years but ran into an issue where software crashed at splash screen and they couldn’t help me. I moved on to laser engraving and now just invested in white toner transfer that came with heat press and a Siser 24” cutter.
thank you for your generous help, and being generous in you sharing you tricks methods, and knowledge.. there in reason to not try , lets be successful. ask as many questions this community will answers as best as possible. especially Brandoh tyry
cricut 3 works very good still trying diff products like puff and soft vinyl (stahls)... I really like your research and development mention!!! I do the same thing just to see if I get a reaction... works well!
Brando how is the us cutter? I have been debating between the cameo and the 28 US cutter. I want to do a lot of Decals for windows and Car decals, like car banners across the front of the car. I know the Cameo is user friendly but how is the US Cutter and its software. I design my stuff in Illustrator. Please advise. :) Thanks Johnny
I did some major homework b4 i purchased my cameo 3 a couple of years ago and i haven't had any issues but ive heard the cricket can't cut bigger than 10 inch cuts for the print and cut feature. Great vid Big B👍
I’m just starting off and your content has been so valuable. If we or going with a provider like Supacolor for our designs, how would a vinyl cutter help. My wife bought a Cricut 6 years ago because she wanted to make shirts and coffee mugs, but never started. If we can use it to help our new shirt business, great. Otherwise we may sell it
I accidentally bought 2 Cameo Plus cutters, time passed for sending the other back. I'm thinking about keeping the other for back up instead of selling it. What you think?
Big Brandoh! Always been grateful for you and the gems you Bless us with! Any suggestions on Cameo 4 settings for cutting HTV? Sometimes I find that it doesn't cut thru or doesn't cut thru the entire design.
Hey Big Brandoh I love your content! I’m fairly new to the t-shirt print game and have been using a Cricut and heat press to complete orders. I’m starting to get larger orders and want to use transfers for those. Can you do a video on how you prep your art work? Do you use Adobe Illustrator?
Brother gracias 🙏 🙌 💙 Amor very well said. Absolutely 💯 professional, Hood y todo eso. I'm super duper excited to step into that experience ☺ just discharged off parole after 4 and half years and I need to stay busy and I thought of buying stuff to do 👕 s and here IAM stuck on ur videos at work and home doing my research 😅 I'm happy for you SALUD 🍻 hi 5... what you put out you get back punto keep up the fabulous work shits dope
Hi Big B, I bought a 24 in cutter thinking bigger is better. What a mistake 😕. Can you tell me any place I can learn more about how to design stuff for my cutter? Thanks
Peace Brandoh , I've been rocking with the Cameo 4 for a little over a year now and just a few days ago it powered down while cutting some vinyl and now it won't power back up.. do you recommend anything on this issue? thanks!
Im new to heat pressing vinyl. Recently just bought a sillohoute portrait 3 its a 8" cutting width. Im only doing t-shirts. Did i buy the wrong cutter???
Hey I guess at the time of this video the cameo 3 was still in affect. I’ve been watching this playlist cause I’m starting my own Christian Brand … but I’m starting from scratch. I want to get the right computer right graphic design applications equipment ETC right now they have the cameo 4 plus does that still fit the 15 inch roll and does it still cut decal and heat vinyl ? I need ur help please 🙏🏻
15 inch rolls but the other video shows 20 inch rolls? I'm getting ready to purchase a cutter.. was going to use the link on the htv but only see 20 inch rolls
you gotta buy a cutter based on your needs. what are you cutting for? shirts? decals? just cuz some vinyls come in 20" rolls you gona buy a bigger cutter? all you gotta do is cut a 12" or 15" piece off that 20" roll to put in your cutter. now it will cut 12x20 or 15x20 piece.
depends on what you plan on using the vinyl for. heat transfer vinyl is made for t shirts and decal vinyl is for glass wear, stickers, signage etc... all types of vinyl can be cut with your cricut just make sure you buy the right vinyl for the material you plan to apply it too
all depends how you structure your business. i know a lady and her daughter that clear 6 figures every year just off of her small craft vinyl cutter. i use my cutter to test designs, not everybody uses it for that, some use theirs to do one off shirts, some use theirs to make decals, some use theirs for all of their shirts. but if you dont need it, dont get it. thats the beauty of this business, you structure it the way you see it fit. more than 1 way to run this business.
Keep doing what you're doing man! There's a lot of people who're stranded out here like who we depend on your knowledge. Thanks man
I remember your humble beginnings. I been following your channel for years.

I got the new Cricut explore 3. It can cut 12.5” x 9ft

See how it does out in the wild 😂 that shit was funny
I've never seen a cameo in a joann fabric store and I just found out about it in the last year.

nah if your mostly cutting out text. 8" is good enough. 8" tall text is pretty big on a shirt. you would be cool doing stuff 6" x 12" or smaller

Big Brandon bro, how do you get smooth cuts with your Cameo 4 for HTV and Oracle 651? What settings do you use?
i have a video showing the settings hit the search bar with "Big Brandoh Cameo Plus"
I want to try my hand at signage
Cricut!
You definitely helped me out with this because I was looking into buying a cricut maker
Joann has the explore 2 for $169 right now ... I got one 2 days ago
Watching this again for the 50th time. Maybe a dumb question but are there tax breaks for us small businesses or tax write offs? Just a thought

The cutter is the most expensive piece of equipment. But it’s not actually making the money. It’s just testing designs.
That seems odd. No?
