I hope this leads to more "Protect and Serve" less "Patrol and Control" Chitwood seems like a stand up guy, but I wonder what that "Private Sponsors" means. Who they are and what the conditions of donation were would be interesting to know.
The title of this video, backed by the county's sheriff, proves the regular police academies aren't giving the departments their best. It takes special treatment to the best of the best.
I would honestly say I don't chitwood due to his views politically but he has done a great job with the sheriff office as some one that grew up in volusia I went from being harassed weekly from walking down the street at night to not even getting stopped with out a reasonable cause
Yeah, same here. Don't really like him personally, seems arrogant, don't agree with most his views, the few I've heard. But he's a solid sheriff who actually cares. Voted for him. Would like less freakin drug raids but that's not really his fault that drugs aren't legal. Waste of time.
