Hannah: why is Luke so angry. me: he's being forced into sleeves. for real though: they don't want to be there but Caleb exerts so much power/control on his turf, so.

Luke’s angry because they’re supposed to be at the Orpheum with Julie performing “Stand Tall” but Caleb summoned them to his club unwillingly in hopes of trapping them there for all eternity. He is a bad ghost that is powerful enough that humans can see him however he is the only one and he also allowed other ghosts to be seen by humans if they “work” for him meaning they kinda forced to work for him to be seen. That is until the 3 boys come and ruin that as they also can be seen with the help of Julie and I believe that scares/ angers him as if they can do it other ghost could to meaning he wouldn’t be in control anymore, in that lyric video he was trying to get the boys to work for him meaning they won’t be with Julie in stand tall which they need to do to live and that’s because he marked them making them lose life power or such thing and in the video his song forces the boys bodies in a way to join in his song. Also yes I do believe in the way the lyric song does have like hypnotic type of stuff to make the boys get into the vibe of the song even if they actually don’t want to
Caleb is the guy singing The Other Side of Hollywood and he is like the "villain" in the show. He thinks he is to top ghost or the best ghost but when he finds out that the boys can be seen when they sing with Julie, he feels threatened. So he tries to steal their souls by putting a stamp on them. The stamp means that they are in his club and basically he can control them whenever he wants to. In You Got Nothing to Lose, the boys don't want to join his club so Caleb is trying to get them to join his band and leave Julie.
So basically the guy in purple is an evil ghost, and his name is Caleb. In “The Other Side of Hollywood” he is trying to show them the ghost club but then finds out that they can be seen when playing and tries to get them to join his band because they are too powerful to not be under his control. When they refuse, he puts a mark on them which will slowly give Caleb their souls. Once time is up, and they haven’t given their souls to him, they won’t exist. But if they do, their souls will still belong to him. In “Nothing to Lose” he is telling them they have nothing to lose when they join his band (except for their freedom, their souls, and Julie) and then he is making them play those instruments because he is slowly getting control of their souls (thats why Luke looks so mad) and they also look mad because they need to get to a place to play with Julie at a gig.
they were having the “direct spot audio from a tedtalk” conversation because people can hear the band when they play and sing by themselves, but they can be seen when they perform with julie!
Cheyanne Jackson is amazing. I used to see him in Seattle when we would be auditioning for the same shows. Well before he moved to Broadway and then onto Hollywood. I am nowhere near his caliber and never did end up working with him, and he would never know me, but he was always fun to listen to and watch from the sidelines during auditions. (and intimidating when you followed him) I remember watching him in a few local theater productions for Seattle Civic Light Opera...I think it was Lion King! It's always fun to see what he's in next, and I won cool points with my son who's just started getting into theater/drama/musicals himself at 16 whenever he sees him and is reminded that Mom knew him once.
That kinda sum up that plotline : at first the boys thought they were in heaven, and then they discovered Caleb is Satan. So it's funny but Hannah got it.
ok so I'll try and explain lmao. So basically Caleb is the new guy singing and he is a ghost just like the trio. He owns a secret Hollywood Ghost Club where the rich living people pay to see all the ghosts sing lol and his role in the show is that he's trying to steal Luke, Reggie and Alex's souls because he thought that he was the only ghost that humans could see and so he feels threatened by their power. wow ok that didn't make sense sorry lol Thanks for another great video though!
Other side of Hollywood is in a club that has all ghosts performing, some ghost guests, and some living guests that are sworn to secrecy. the main guy singing is a dead magician and the most powerful ghost, he’s also the “villain” of the show.
That dude, his name is Caleb and he is forcing the boys to be in his band and he can do magic and they were forced to play. They had to play with Julie in a BIG gig and they were forced there. That’s my best explanation
YES.I WAS WAITING FOR THIS. Fun fact : This man, Cheyenne Jackson who plays the villain, also play and sing on Descendants 3, and he is amazing! And now that you have mentioned The Greatest Showman, we need a react!
For Julie and the Phantoms, There is a 4 man band who were about to play a big gig. 3 of them, Luke,Reggie, and Alex died from eating very bad street dogs. A lady named Rose loved their music and got a cd and t-shirt from them. A long time later Rose had a child named Julie! Rose had died when Julie was little and her dad wanted to move. He asked Julie to go through her moms studio and found the cd of the band! She put it in the CD player and Luke,Reggie, and Alex appeared in the studio as ghosts only Julie could see and hear! They work together to make a band and complete their unfinished business which means what they didn’t get to do when they were humans. Julie is still in high school and is in a musical program trying to put on big performances! Luke,Reggie,Alex, and Julie work together to create music and complete the unfinished business! I hope this helps you understand what Julie and the Phantoms is! 🙂
I came running to see the comments about Charlie, Owen and Jeremy being the chaotic best friend trio in real life after hearing her say something about the Luke, Alex and Reggie trio and their friendship chemistry
ok so basically he is the "evil" ghost who is trying to lure them into his club or the "Hollywood Ghost Club" he is intimidated by their ability to be seen by living people and wants them to join his band and be on his side so he can use their powers for himself
I love the dude who sings “other side of Hollywood” his voice is FINE!!! Also he is the main antagonist of the show, he doesn’t like other ghosts being able to play/sing/do shows and be seen by people. He monopolizes it by tricking people (ghosts) into joining him by making it seem like being with him is amazing. Hence why this song is very intoxicating and makes you want to stay. If you haven’t seen the show you should watch!
The guy who plays Reggie (guy in leather jacket) actually makes his own songs. His name is Jeremy Shada and he is GOOD! You should totally react to some of his songs :)
Ok so Nothing To Lose is one of the most crazy songs. The boys, Alex, Luke, and Reggie, aren’t there by choice. This is right before stand tall and Caleb, the bad guy singing, took them to his club where he wants them to join his club band, basically owning their souls. When they start dancing, knees bouncing, teleporting onto stage, they’re not doing that on their own either, Caleb is also making them do that. Luke is so mad because he wants to get to Stand Tall and he doesn’t want to keep fighting Caleb. I hope this helps 😊
basically thats the hollywood ghost club and that dude is basically the owner/main act He sees how talented those three ghosts are and wants them to join but they actually just want him to explain some shit to them. That kid from twilight is Alex’s (the drummer) ghost bf who’s basically showing him what it’s like to be a ghost and he’s already bound to that satan dude. Long story short he actually enchants them so they just disappear (while in great pain) unless they join him. no afterlife, no finding the reason why they’re still alive, no music with julie etc. That’s what happens in the second song, he tells them they got nothing to lose so they should just join but they then decide against it. The show has _layers_
basically, Caleb, meaning the guy who sings "the other side of Hollywood" is also a ghost, and that club is full of only ghosts, he invited the three boys to take part in his club and not. allowed to leave (a curse, if they don't listen ¡, they will be actually dead, not ghosts) and the offer was the there boys to join the club and stay there forever until idk when (because they're ghosts, they stay as the same age forever and live on forever) and basically in the "nothing to loose" video, caleb is forcing the three boys to join his band and play for him forever and ever
He’s and evil ghost named Caleb Covington and the boys go to him thinking he could make them visible to humans but instead he wants them to join his band for eternity and not be a part of Julies band and they refuse and he puts a stamp on them that shocks them to almost death. He is kinda like Satan I guess. The show is on Netflix you really need to watch it you won’t regret it. Also side note he used to be a magician but he died from one of his tricks so yeah.
a little summary of the show : so basically Julie lives in the house that the three boys rehearsed in when they were a band. she is the only person who can see them, her mom died when she was younger. that might be why she can see them we don’t know. they lived it years ago but haven’t aged since they died. The fourth member of their band didn’t die and he is the mean girls dad. you see that in some of the later episodes. they can only be seen when they play with Julie. the guy floating is in a magic club and that’s kinda why julie can see them, they are magic?
Answering your question that guy is A "bad ghost" and he's trying to keep them in his club so they can't help Julie. That last video is related with video "stand tall". Your welcome ❤. Now when i have your attention. You NEED to see and react to The rest songs in once upon A Time musical episode. Have A nice Day xx
I've always enjoyed "The Other Side of Hollywood" too! It's very different than from the rest of their songs and Cheyenne Jackson is a VERY good singer! It definitely gives that Greatest Showman energy with a little bit of a Donny Osmond spin to it that is very enjoyable both to listen and watch!!!
the otherside of hollywood is about the evil ghost called 'Caleb'. he sings this song and yes it is an amazing party but hes using it to catch the trio in his trap. Hes forcing them under his spell. but yeah, hes like a super old ghost from the 1920s or something
Her: * praising Cheyenne Jackson's vocals * Me with each comment: uhm yeah hello we're talking about fricking Cheyenne Jackson here, duhh (Yes, I might just be a bit of a huge fan)
So i love this show, The song Other side of Hollywood he runs a club where the living go to watch the dead performers. He offers them life after death for joining his club
I love that line. I always felt like the writers were like, 'we need to explain why they're just dancing and not too worried.' And also, 'but the explanation has to be like SUPER 2020.'
Oh my gosh, explanations!! The floating guy is Caleb Covington, the villain of the show, and he is the most talented ghost because he has been dead for ages. They are at the Hollywood Ghost Club, where people pay money to be members and see performances from the afterlife, but Caleb is controlling them so they can't leave. When he finds out that the boys can be seen by lifers without his help, he feels vulnerable so he tries to get them to join his club forever. But they don't have a choice, because in 'The Other Side Of Hollywood' they don't know he's evil, so they get a club stamp from him, that causes electric jolts inside of their bodies, and so they can either join his club or get destroyed by the jolts. In 'You Got Nothing To Lose' he is controlling them to play the instruments. At this time, Julie is waiting for the guys to arrive because they have the performance of 'Stand Tall' at The Orpheum, which is why Julie looks so surprised when they appear because she thought the jolts had taken over, and why Luke was flickering. ...You probably know this already by now but this is also for anyone wondering :)
Cheyenne Jackson (the “satan”) plays the character Caleb Covington, who is pretty much just an antagonist. He is an evil ghost that the boys run into and he makes them join his “club” for eternity!!
It’s hard to explain what’s going on without giving away the whole show lol but you do have to watch it. It’s so good and I always finish it in less than a day and I’ve seen it 4 times already
I love how she almost got the show on lock then we just throw a curve ball at her with 'other side of Hollywood' and she's just as lost as the first one.
Aw, no one ever does the Other Side of Hollywood reprise lol. You’d love it for the dancing! And yes that is Booboo Stewart from Twilight. He’s not literally Satan but.....close lol.
So basically Caleb is the owner of the Hollywood Ghost Club. In "The Other Side of Hollywood" the boys visit the club for the first time and Caleb puts his 'stamp' on them. This kinda makes them all have jolts and gives them three choices. They go join his club, cross over (to heaven or smth), or get destroyed by the jolts and stop existing. In Nothing To Lose, they're meant to be playing with Julie at the Orpheum (stand tall) but Caleb is distracting them and trying to still get them to join him. So that's why they looked worried and angry and stuff. Hope this helps!
Watch them ALLLLLLLL!!!!! Please there is still 'Wow' and 'All Eyes on me', which is so cute because Alex is just going wild on that stage dancing around
In Nothing the Lose, the boys actually created those instrument solos themselves! Also the guy from Twilight is Willie, the skater boy love interest of the drummer
Yes, he is THAT GOOD, because Cheyenne Jackson is a Broadway veteran and can bring it vocally along with the professional tricks of the stage. That's why this number is so flashy, so grand, and quite the production. You're right to be impressed.
Hannah: "Is this Satan?!" Me: "Welp, you're not wrong." Caleb: "Please. Satan WISHES he had my style." 🤣😂🤣😂 On another note, without going into spoiler territory, Caleb Covington WAS a stage magician who died in a feak accident during one of his shows (they'll probably tell more on that in the second season), in the song, You Got Nothing To Lose, the line, "He said, Covington I got an offer that you can't refuse." meaning there was some sort of spiritual contact...... don't know what of but moving on. Lol He then resides in a hotel in LA (lol ironic.....The City of Angels) that not many people go to. Where some, who are still living, are invited to stay and enjoy the show while ghosts are invited to perform...... more or less. And the reason Luke looked angry was because when those three went there the first time they [REDACTED] [SPOILER] and it was bad but when they were about to leave, Caleb [REDACTED] [SPOILER]. The rest of the show, the boys get [REDACTED] [SPOILER] and will only stop if they join Caleb's band..... forever. I'd be mad too, yeah. Hope this helped clarify some things. 😊
Okay I watched part 1 to 3 and it was such a blast! And then this dude came along like what! Idk I just didn't expect this, i didn't know that it can get better! Like what it can get better?! Lol I was just shocked😂
So in “The Other Side of Hollywood” and “Nothing to Loose” there is a character named Caleb who is trying to reel them in to own their souls, so he’s not satan but in this show a close second
The main guy in The Other Side of Hollywood is played by Cheyenne Jackson who has been in multiple Broadway musicals as well as movie musicals. He plays Caleb, who is also a ghost. To discribe the scene to someone who hasn't seen the musical is difficult, but what you need to know it that Caleb becomes the villain and sorta tries to take the souls of Luke, Reggi, and Alex. The other dancers in that scene are all also ghosts yet can only be seen with Caleb's magic. I hope this help!

Do hear that rasp he's adding to his voice?
Me: Well Jeremy is a voice actor so, makes sense that he can do that
He deserves so much love
Cheyenne Jackson plays Caleb who is the “bad ghost”. He I believe has been on broadway and he was Hades in descendants 3 which Kenny also directed.
He has been on Broadway! He's been in a handful of shows from Xanadu and All Shook Up, to Aida and Thoroughly Modern Millie!
He’s also in quite a few season of American horror story. He didn’t sing on that though, so it’s not really relevant
He was also in glee but he didn’t sing in it
not me simping fo cheyenne 👁👄👁
He's also in the new show call me kat
Caleb is the guy singing The Other Side of Hollywood and he is like the "villain" in the show. He thinks he is to top ghost or the best ghost but when he finds out that the boys can be seen when they sing with Julie, he feels threatened. So he tries to steal their souls by putting a stamp on them. The stamp means that they are in his club and basically he can control them whenever he wants to. In You Got Nothing to Lose, the boys don't want to join his club so Caleb is trying to get them to join his band and leave Julie.
cheyenne’s (caleb) voice is just so amazing and the performance for his songs, they’re definitely my top 2 on the show and i won’t apologize
“His high notes are really good” - she’s not even remotely close to his actual high notes yet 😳😂
exactly what i said lol
He*
I know thats what i was thinking 😂
@@jennaharington4698 no, I did mean “she” cause Hannah hadn’t even played the high notes yet haha, she was still at the beginning of the song
@HannahBayels
"I thought I had this show figured out! I'm so lost!" is pretty much how I felt watching this show for the first time. 😂😂
Hannah: This kid was in twilight right?
Me: He’s not a scrappy wolf his name is Seth!!!
SETH CLEARWATER
I’m so sorry I insulted Seth 😭😭😭
It’s fine
Yassss when I watched Twilight for the 1st time I was like "wait dude r u in Julie and the Phantoms?"
He also plays Jay in Disney's Descendants
I love that she just doesn’t know that Caleb literally tried to kill the boys 🤣
Hannah being amazed by Cheyenne Jackson is so adorable. Girrrlll, he's amazing! She needs to do more reacts on Cheynne Jackson, who's with me?
I second this
Agree
they were having the “direct spot audio from a tedtalk” conversation because people can hear the band when they play and sing by themselves, but they can be seen when they perform with julie!
"This Band Is Back" does NOT showcase Jeremy's voice justly imo.
She should listen to "blue eyed ballerina" 💕
@@chairmode9697 I think it’s just ballerina but yeah she should
@@chairmode9697 or "home is where my horse is" lmao
I so agree with you I love his voice in his song uh oh
I agree with you. Jeremy's belt in "Stand Tall" is pure evidence of that.
"Are they in heaven?"
"IS HE FLOATING?"
*"iS tHiS SaTaN?"*
Hannah really snapped on this intro now didn't she
That kinda sum up that plotline : at first the boys thought they were in heaven, and then they discovered Caleb is Satan. So it's funny but Hannah got it.
@@nanalove3819 Really? In what episode?
@@nanalove3819 I thought it said Caleb was a powerful ghost.
@@xxunitatoaestheticxx3318 No I was just joking because Caleb is like Satan, he is not really Satan.
@@nanalove3819 LOL this is soooo true :)
ok so I'll try and explain lmao.
Wow
Cheyenne Jackson is incredible! His voice is out of this world and I'm so happy he was brought in for Julie and the Phantoms.
I NEVER CLICKED SO FAST ILY HANNAH
Right
same lmao
I came running to see the comments about Charlie, Owen and Jeremy being the chaotic best friend trio in real life after hearing her say something about the Luke, Alex and Reggie trio and their friendship chemistry
Cheyenne is SUCH a good singer and definitely doesn’t get the recognition he deserves!!
ok so basically he is the "evil" ghost who is trying to lure them into his club or the "Hollywood Ghost Club" he is intimidated by their ability to be seen by living people and wants them to join his band and be on his side so he can use their powers for himself
The guy who plays Reggie
(guy in leather jacket) actually makes his own songs. His name is Jeremy Shada and he is GOOD! You should totally react to some of his songs :)
I would do uh oh or ballerina
^^ I second that! You should definitely react to them sometime!
He is also a voice actor of Finn from Adventure Time
I was like “what BooBoo in twilight?” But then I remembered he was actually.
Literally every single time she says I love his high notes I'm like "just wait"😏😏
The red sateen jacket that reggie is wearing actually has butterflies on it
exactly why does no one talks abt this
basically thats the hollywood ghost club and that dude is basically the owner/main act
He sees how talented those three ghosts are and wants them to join but they actually just want him to explain some shit to them.
YES I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
"I'm still lost, I have no idea what's going on, but I'm here for it".
That my life motto Hannah.😂
basically, Caleb, meaning the guy who sings "the other side of Hollywood" is also a ghost, and that club is full of only ghosts, he invited the three boys to take part in his club and not. allowed to leave (a curse, if they don't listen ¡, they will be actually dead, not ghosts) and the offer was the there boys to join the club and stay there forever until idk when (because they're ghosts, they stay as the same age forever and live on forever) and basically in the "nothing to loose" video, caleb is forcing the three boys to join his band and play for him forever and ever
Part 5: “Wow”, “Finally Free”, “I got the Music”
u copied this
He’s and evil ghost named Caleb Covington and the boys go to him thinking he could make them visible to humans but instead he wants them to join his band for eternity and not be a part of Julies band and they refuse and he puts a stamp on them that shocks them to almost death. He is kinda like Satan I guess. The show is on Netflix you really need to watch it you won’t regret it.
Also side note he used to be a magician but he died from one of his tricks so yeah.
Such a shame netflix canceled it!
a little summary of the show : so basically Julie lives in the house that the three boys rehearsed in when they were a band. she is the only person who can see them, her mom died when she was younger. that might be why she can see them we don’t know. they lived it years ago but haven’t aged since they died.
I agree revenge is gonna be mine is great. So is wicked always wins

@@rachelweyhreter2332 yess!!! Wicked Always Wins is my favorite!
We need in part 5 Dirty Candy from Julie and the phantoms
I've always enjoyed "The Other Side of Hollywood" too! It's very different than from the rest of their songs and Cheyenne Jackson is a VERY good singer! It definitely gives that Greatest Showman energy with a little bit of a Donny Osmond spin to it that is very enjoyable both to listen and watch!!!
shes talking about Calebs high notes.. you ain't seen nothing yet, girl
the otherside of hollywood is about the evil ghost called 'Caleb'. he sings this song and yes it is an amazing party but hes using it to catch the trio in his trap. Hes forcing them under his spell. but yeah, hes like a super old ghost from the 1920s or something
Fun fact: The guy who sang “Nothing to lose” and “Other side of Hollywood” is the same guy who plays Hades in Descendants.
Her: * praising Cheyenne Jackson's vocals *
Me with each comment: uhm yeah hello we're talking about fricking Cheyenne Jackson here, duhh
(Yes, I might just be a bit of a huge fan)
legit same she was so impressed and im like duhh do you not know who cheyenne jackson is???
Cheyenne Jackson is also in Descendants 3. He sings “do what you gotta do”, you should listen.
"Do what you got to do" What movie movie was that?
@@xxunitatoaestheticxx3318 it literally says it in the comment
So i love this show, The song Other side of Hollywood he runs a club where the living go to watch the dead performers. He offers them life after death for joining his club
when you said ‘his high notes are really good’ in the other side of hollywood i was like you’ve seen NOTHING yet
“It’s direct spot audio! Heard about it in a Ted Talk”
I love that line. I always felt like the writers were like, 'we need to explain why they're just dancing and not too worried.' And also, 'but the explanation has to be like SUPER 2020.'
@@ashlynnsiobhan LMFAOO YESS!!
I'm actually impressed that she doesn't know who Cheyenne Jackson is but knows a secondary character from twilight 😅
I think she reacted to “All eyes on me” in her first video of Julie and the phantoms
In Nothing the Lose, the boys actually created those instrument solos themselves!
Also the guy from Twilight is Willie, the skater boy love interest of the drummer
11:24 when he hit that G5!!! I LOVE your face when he hit that G5!!! I snapped a screenshot!! I am trying to figure out how to attach it!!
Yes, he is THAT GOOD, because Cheyenne Jackson is a Broadway veteran and can bring it vocally along with the professional tricks of the stage. That's why this number is so flashy, so grand, and quite the production. You're right to be impressed.
Hannah: "Is this Satan?!"
Me: "Welp, you're not wrong."
Caleb: "Please. Satan WISHES he had my style." 🤣😂🤣😂
On another note, without going into spoiler territory, Caleb Covington WAS a stage magician who died in a feak accident during one of his shows (they'll probably tell more on that in the second season), in the song, You Got Nothing To Lose, the line, "He said, Covington I got an offer that you can't refuse." meaning there was some sort of spiritual contact...... don't know what of but moving on.
I think caleb is a demon
Okay I watched part 1 to 3 and it was such a blast! And then this dude came along like what! Idk I just didn't expect this, i didn't know that it can get better! Like what it can get better?! Lol I was just shocked😂
You need to watch the show so you can understand everything 😭😭
His the bad guy and His a ghost too actually everyone that’s singing and dancing with him are ghost but they can’t be seen without his help
“this sounds like the greatest showman” well now i know why i love it so much
So in “The Other Side of Hollywood” and “Nothing to Loose” there is a character named Caleb who is trying to reel them in to own their souls, so he’s not satan but in this show a close second
