- Welcome.
In this short video I will demonstrate how to install Model Tech Pro Track Rail Aligners which makes taking tracks across baseboard joints a breeze. I also show them in action on my Lift up section of my OO model railway.

Excellent never seen them before.
That seems to work fine when the track is at a right angle to the baseboard edge. But how do you allign track that crosses the baseboard edge at, say, 45 degrees?
Thanks for your question. In that case scenario you either need to have the aligners proud of the edge at one corner which is not ideal or used another method such as copper clad board.
The lifting part has to overlap , one point bear in mind..... If adding the Modeltech joiners to a curve avoid flexitrack. As it increases the problems. Because it wants to straighten when cut. The joiners have to be soldered under the track with track, joiners all held down with the screws as demonstrated in the video. Radius curves don't fight as much!!!! When cut.
What, no links?

Nice video; annoying background music.
Well, you can't please all people all the time!
i think £10.00 a pop for these is rather expensive.
4 pairs in a pack. So enough to do 4 tracks.
Any other method is much trickier to use.
Worth every penny.
