@@LucidStew For me, it's nice to have a solid jumping off point. I'm currently mimicking this and I think I'm gonna try layering like you've shown in another video to make the bark look better.
Oh man this is a great idea! Id love to see 2 side by side videos, with u and sakku creating at the same time. Thanks again for all of your awesome dreams content [and all of your assets in dreams] cheers Lucid!
and that's just one use of logic is edit. I think it might have been Onieronaut that came up with that. Someone else used to make music. I don't think anyone has taken a real hardcore jump into though, so there's probably something magical waiting to be discovered.
I'm just a chimp mimicking something the genius figured out. ;) Although, I will take credit for the bark-to-branches thing. Pretty sure I just invented that...
@@LucidStew Haha, seriously, both yourself, Sakku's Mind and LadylexUK are my go-to's for inspiration and tutorials. I'm working on a city-based driving game (LA Riders or Crazy Taxi style) and hopefully I'll have something to play in about a month! Cheers!
could be a couple things. make sure you're surfaced snapped. make sure you're smearing. with smear, when you're doing something like this you have to giggle the controller slightly, or it wont want to smear.
Awesome video my friend and I'll happily accept the challenge! :D
I maybe just need a little but my answer is coming, you better be prepared!! :p
you mean I have to do better than this in less than FOUR mins? :\
Love the technique videos.
Me too. Not necessary to mimic these, but MAYBE it knocks something else loose for someone, and that's whats really fun.
