  • My 2013 Honda Odyssey EX-L minivan has 246K miles so it is expected that the Air Conditioning system leaks some refrigerant every year.
The warmer weather started and the other day when I tried to use the AC I was getting a warm breeze. I couldn't even hear the AC compressor kicking in. So I suspected that the refrigerant amount was too low and that is why the AC compressor doesn't start.
As soon as I started adding refrigerant the AC compressor started.
I kept going until the pressure was around 30 psi. The temperature in the cabin was cold now. Easy and cheap fix. The 12 oz can costs around $10-$15.

Lowest setting for temperature meaning the coldest temperature right. I bought the ez chill hose and gauge one. Will try to figure out how to attach the can. Also you press the lever on the hose while shaking bottle side to side to release the Freon into the hose and lower pressure valve right?

All correct. Lower setting is the coldest.
